Yeah i had origonially loaded it as the free app when it was avaible and now that i want to buy the gems, it starts out as -purchaseing- then it asks for the pw and then it like loading and then say "You cant purchase this , you must purchase the app this item is for before you canpurchase this item" So i went on to buy the app and when i did that it loaded a seprete box that was dragonvale and has +5000 on the picture.. and its like how to's and some puzzle... i REALLLY want my gems i dont know what to do

and yes that Frosty is mocking me too, gotta happen eventually...hopefully before they go and release an Easter special limited time one?
Will have to move the focus to that instead.....I seem to be doing a bit of that lately, but adds another layer to the mix...hmm

 

Sounds like you got scammed into buying one of those Game Studio LLC apps. How Apple even allows this crap is beyond me.

 

Just to clarify....
Did you enter via DV market, then click treasure?
I have got as far as entering my password, no problem but if I proceed any further I should end up with the gems....kind of want to see what happens so I guess I can part with $1.99... Put them towards that elusive Frosty....will think about it first

 

Yeah i went threw the market and i end up with nothing, but i still have the money... i just want my gems but at the way its looking its not happening.... so if anyone knows what i gotta do to get them or tell someone who many know to help would be VERY appricitive!

 

My daughter had the same message: "You cant purchase this , you must purchase the app this item is for before you canpurchase this item". She deleted the app from her pad then reloaded it. Fixed the issue. I think it had something to do with her playing the game under her dad's GC id first, so it wasn't credited as her game. I don't think I can explain properly, but just try deleting it from your device then installing it again. ... I mean delete Backflip's Dragonvale and then reinstall it.
(Too bad you got suckered into buying that other app).

Sounds like Foxtail may have a solution to your problem.
When you delete the app, just make Sure you don't delete it from GC or else you will lose everything and have to start on lvl 1 again.

Good luck, I won't try buying the gems yet, I haven't used a different username so hopefully won't have the same issue as Foxtails daughter....guess it still doesnt explain why you are though....anyway see how you go

 

It's funny how results vary. And reactions... I just tried a fog/lava combo since some of you have been having good luck in breeding Frostfire that way. A couple of weeks ago I wouldn't even DREAM about getting disappointed when getting a 48 hour breeding. Now I just sighed and said out loud "Not another freakin' moon again" *bah* it's my fifth. Can I at least get a sun or rainbow?

I too wish there was a way to trade or even GIVE away dragons. I just got my like TENTH iceberg.

I thought my three were bad enough, LOL had also wanted and second rainbow or worst case second sun, fingers crossed for you.

Wowee 10th iceberg... I know of someone who would dearly love one of your many spares, or could have my egg sitting in the nursery as I don't have a place for it, how good would it be to be able to help a forum friend out.

Thing is, I've sold a whole bunch of ugly Icebergs. What a waste. And ... *drum roll* I have yet another little, ugly Ice hippo-egg in nursery. Really, REALLY wish I could give it to someone in need.

Maybe some day they will give us a trading function? BFS I mean.

By the way, I started redecorating when I bought the 4th island and I can see that there a lot of artists out there. My islands are now a mess and I think I need a 5th island to sort it out. How did that happen?!? LOL

I recently hatched a new muddie from another failed attempt at a Frosty.
I was pondering what on earth to try next for Frosty or second Panlong, and the thought came to me that before I use my new mud for anything else, I must have a couple of goes for a second Thorn (aka Sandstorm) for the benefit of newer or forgetful posters haha.

I had copy and pasted MaLiesas combo reminder to me into my notes app,
cause I am one of those forgetful posters ...cough cough.
LOL, but I did remember the levels this time anyway.

I had an older air at lvl 8, so fed it to lvl 10
I then bred my lvl 10 air with brand new lvl 4 mud as per MaLiesas post.

You all know whats coming next from my header, right?

I GOT IT ON MY FIRST TRY!!!! How crazy is that after the first being the worst nightmare dragon in the whole of my DV journey, almost cost me the game and I have not liked it from day one, made sure it starved for days cause I could

@ MaLiesa.....I really can't thank you enough, after all the pure frustration of weeks of fails with the first one, try a few times again for a second but not much cause why would I put myself through that again...and then to follow your lead and strike gold first time.....well the best way to show my appreciation is to name this one after you......so the new sandstorm egg in my nursery will be called MaLiesa and I already love this one....

To all who are trying for a sandstorm, pls give this a go and a new muddie may be even better odds to breed from.

You will have to save your gems for the EBC, don't know what lvl it's available though cause I was already on lvl 20 or 21 when it was released.

I got my rainbow with swamp /firefly, but haven't been able to get another one with that or any combo yet.....after just getting a second sandstorm, I think I could get anything now, it's just a matter of time
