Leap Year dragon musings Ok, so I'm thinking that maybe there is a reason BFS gave us the FOY. The LY dragon looks similar to the Rainbow, Leap Year is every 4 yrs, so maybe leveling down Rainbows in the FOY to 4's & breeding them might result in a LY dragon?
That would be very clever, but too clever for BFS, I'm afraid. So far all the dragons have been breedable the "traditional" way.
This can't be true, because all dragons have a fixed income..... I believe that visitors are just a general indication of how good your park is (the more visitors you have, the better a park you have) Also, my 48 hour times were both just sped up and...... TWO SUNS!!!!!!!!!! Not even a second rainbow! AND I STILL CAN'T GET THAT FROSTY!!!!!!!!!!!
any news on the leap year dragon yet? I keep searching the "eggs" part of the market for the new addition! Please post if it's available so everyone knows.
so sorry to hear Dando Very frustrating to get two 48 hr timers and not one of them a rainbow That Frosty is proving to be a nightmare for many, only other option is start saving your gems like I do, Frosty was my rainy day...and if the rainbow didn't cost so many gems I would save for that too....those that got their 2 within a few months of playing are soooo lucky and I sure hope they appreciate them. I can't even get a 48hr, let alone my second rainbow or sun. Have you tried breeding with newly hatched dragons too? Wish I had some new ideas for you, hopefully an Easter dragon will give us something else to focus on or the leap year one, although that looks like a golden version of the rainbow so another challenge ahead?
I certainly wouldn't waste gems on getting a dragon you're having crappy luck breeding... especially the frost fire.. If you had a blue fire then breed it with a cold or fire. If u have 2 blue fires then breed them both at the same with, one with cold one with fire.. Frost fire is VERY easy to get considering the other possible outcomes. There are 3 x 12 hour outcomes = cold, blue fire, frost fire. Keep doing it until u get the frosty I don't see what the big deal is. It didn't take me forever to get it but I was determined to breed nonstop til I got it. If u don't have a blue fire then breed cold with poison. Worst case scenario its a poison or flower (1 hour/30 mins) or a 12 hour. If you want to get your air statue points then breed fire/ice.. outcomes are the 3 x 12 hour mentioned above or a blazing which is 8 hour. If you guys seriously can't get frost fire just know that with determination and patience you will get them. It's not like you're hunting a rainbow, its a friggin frost fire... that aint nothin to stress about.
got my first 48h! My question is, what is the likely dragon from a "new" storm and scorch? so excited!
My guess would be a moon have heard that that is a good combo for those and its been a while but I think that's how I got my moon
Wow, take a chill pill! Frostfire is NOT VERY easy to get for many of us. Please don't come on here and dictate or knock others thoughts and suggestions. You don't need to see what the big deal is cause you have yours okay? Good for you that you don't want to waste' your gems, I certainly don't regret using mine especially on Frostfire'
I agree. The original intention for this forum is for sharing successes/failures, and ideas for game strategies/helpful hints etc. The inconsiderate attitude and condescension is not appreciated. ps I used gems to get my second Bone, second Bluey and will use gems to get my second Frosty if I need to and I do not consider it a waste!

You people thought I was being mean and I truly wasn't but now I'll be REAL: To ANYONE who wasted gems to BUY a dragon you are a N00B!!! ALL dragons are breedable given enough patience.. if you're too lazy to breed the dragon yourself and buy it with gems you are NOT a DRAGON LORD!! You think I got all my dragons on the first try?? NO! But I have determination and patience to wait and now I'm a MASTER. Sorry if you can't handle a little confidence boost.. you never had a pep talk before? To anyone willing to properly LEARN to play this game and has questions, ask me anything and I will kindly give you the right steps to achieve your goals. I didn't get to level 30, 15 rainbows and halfway to 4 gold statues by luck people. Heed my advice!

Well said, Girlpower! @Allanon- this game is so random and there are many of us who have been playing since the beginning, who have at times tried for weeks into months for the rares. It must be great for you that you've been so lucky. It's up to the individual as to how to play the game. Since some dragons come & go, I don't blame someone for using their gems if they're having a breeding roadblock. This forum is for us to encourage & support others, & not be so critical.

Thanx girlpower! I've been biting my tongue for a couple of hours. It's one thing to help others out by sharing experience. If any of you care to look at all my previous comments in this thread they are only to encourage others. You have all misconstrued my arguments and for that I am disappointed. I only come here to encourage and support people please feel free to read all my comments if you want the proof. I've been playing it for quite a while and have had plenty of roadblocks along the way, but that's no reason to give up and buy your way out of it. People should stick to the hope of breeding whatever it is they're going for. EVERY dragon is breedable and to discourage yourself is sad. I have been lucky, yes.. but I've been quite furious plenty of times too. You just gotta grit and bear it and you will get what you want.
hmmmmmm........well I am at level 30, I have 6 rainbows 20 panlongs! and I have two of every other dragon, save the bone dragon (only because I did not start playing until after it was no longer available). As far as the gold statues, I'm also half way there on four of them. Despite my level....I am what you would refer to as a "NOOB". The level you are at does not make you a "DRAGON LORD" I think the word your looking for is arrogant. I apologize to my other forum friends for my irritability.
