Yep, Jazbo it's sure is ridiculous and mean...reeks of money hungry this time. Again.....some are getting it first or second try so then decide its easy to get... When I read such early success, I was rapt thinking how wonderful cause they are also breeding Rainbow/LY to get another rainbow (apparently no one yet has got a second LY with this combo)....but another Rainbow....yip yip hooray....now I am getting stressed cause I gotta get that LY. What's the time zone difference from Oz....are we ahead or behind? Won't that either make my time frame shorter or longer????
Hi. I'm new Hi. Just started the game yesterday and I am sooo addicted. The question I have is how do you know which dragons to breed to get certain dragons? Is there a list somewhere? I bought gems before I figured out that there was a way to breed to get the dragons...:/. Is it random or is there some recipe? Thanks!
For those who got their second leap year dragon, did you have to hatch your first one before you were able to breed a second?
I've had no luck getting a second either. 24 hour fail and a 12 hour fail. Not gonna speed them up if you can't get two LY dragons anyway. Has anyone actually got two of them?
already tried: blazing and mud - 10h fail firefly and cold - 5h fail getting sooo frustrated.. I hope they at least gave us one week for this LYD..

Hey Andy, Think it was Lao-Shu that has 2 now? I have just gone back into dragon wiki and some are now getting a second one using both Rainbow/Leap Year....seems you will either get another rainbow or a leap year....most seem to be getting rainbows though I just want one! Now have Panlong breeding in one cave, nursery full of longish fails, and 3 hr fail In normal cave, but no where to put it, not a happy Vegemite right now, so going for a walk
I have been Trying all day for the second leap year I used. love and panlong, firefly and snow and the one leap year I got I tried with rainbow got 4 rainbows, now I have a panlong in the epic cave. I have spent a lot of gems' I am so tired of trying if I had plenty of money I would buy the second one. Some times I spend more just trying to get one. This is not fair to me a couple of days to get it.
I have tried many different combos & spent money too. I don't think we are meant to get two LY dragons. At least I have one. Can't afford to spend any more money trying for a second.

I'm just have to be content with a single LY dragon. My nursery is clogged up with suns and rainbows now. And I have spent more than my quota of purchased gems....I dare not buy anymore. But the last 24 hr have been productive: 1 moon 1 leap year 2 suns 2 rainbows I haven't been this lucky in rare dragons ever! Hoping all of you will at least get a Leap Year before the deadline
LY success Hi all, I'm back! I checked in to get some tips on the Leap Year dragon and in scrolling back about 30 pages I saw all of the really nice replies asking me not to go. That was really nice. I guess I was being overly sensitive before. Anyway, I got a LY dragon on my fourth or fifth try with a Pan and Love combo. But I'm confused...is there another new dragon as well? Thanks in advance for the feedback. It's good to be back!
Hey DM! Glad your back! You should be able to breed the LPY with any dragons, as long as if between the two dragons you have four elements ( I got mine cold + love, I did not even realize it right away ) just don't blow through gems trying for a second it seems that it's not a possibility from what I gather. To all my dragonvale friends, congrats to those of you that have already got this pretty little fella and my best wishes to those of you who don't. I hope we can all celebrate together! P.S. I would stay away from a Panlong breeding combo, it most often results in a 36 hour wait. Happy breeding everyone!
I love Dragonvale but not happy we do not have longer to get two dragons. I hope everyone gets atleast just one . I have to stop going through gems to get two. I have to be more patience. I just hate waiting. I am happy I have one. Have a good night every one maybe better news for everyone tomorrow.

Leap Year Dragon I got mine with Seaweed and Firefly in the regular breeding cave. I'm going to try and get another if I can, but am happy to have my one golden egg sitting and waiting. Best of luck to everyone!!!!
I have been having the EXACT same problem! I got my leapyear on the first try w/ love and panlong and now I've blown through all of my gems trying to get another! Does anyone know if we'll have all day of the 29th to keep trying? (I hope so!) I'm pretty sure others have gotten more than one... But maybe they bought them? I dunno...
I just got the 14 hour and 30 minute timer for LY with a Level 10 Mud and a Level 10 Blazing in the epic cave! It took me like 5 tries with Love and Panlong and Mud and Scorch before, so that burned through quite a number of gems for me as well. Good luck on getting it everyone! I think we will have the whole day until 12:00 a.m. on March 1 though. It would not make sense if the LY leaves tomorrow
There are two people that have more than one that I know of, but it's obvious from the gem, dragoncash and food count that they have hacked the game and purchased them, I have been reading posts from other sources and the consensus seems to be one Leap Year Dragon unless you purchase another. Hopefully BFS will loosen the strings the last few hours, but I doubt it. I sure hope everyone gets one. Have all of you purchased the decoration the astrolabe? It mentions in the info given that it was meant to "capture a few extra days" maybe this is the loop hole we need to buy some extra time? Just a thought... Happy breeding
