Unlucky clover?! Failed again. Used new level 4's, plant + earth and got 12 hr timer. Please post what worked or didn't work for you.
Still 10 hours to go on my breeding caves. Having a hard time not speeding then up to try for clover but I know it will be around for a bit. I'm curious too what has worked for anyone else. Hubby tried earth and plant and got a 14 hour fail. Even if this takes a little while at least it keeps the game interesting and it should be around for a few weeks!
I have Tried plant and earth 3 times do far got one 14 hour and 2 12 hour timers. I would like to see if any one else has gotten one and with what. Good luck every one.
Does it make a difference which offspring you get based on what level your dragons are when you breed?
I think it can, but it is hard to tell because of the randomness of this game. My experience has been that 'fresh' dragons often work.
I will give it a try when my cave is available. I have breed a lvl4 earth and lvl4 plant switching sides and got the Tree(14 hr) and Moss(12hr). Will try and level them up right before I try for the Clover, which I think is 7hr. Will let you know what luck I had.
It looks like the most common factor for getting a Clover is using a Moss with another plant variant. Problem is the 10 or 12hr fails
My Moss will not be ready until tomorrow, so guess I will wait and keep reading the board for more hints. Just started the game but I am really enjoying it. The long wait times really slow the game down for a newbie but at least it gives me time to research the game strategies.
Clover So just reading up on clover and everything about the clover dragon is based on and around the number seven. The thought came to me.... Breeding level seven dragons... Well I will give it a go, I will let you know. Best of luck breeding!
Ok so it's level seven flower and level seven moss, just bred two! I tried level seven tree and moss but you can wind up with a fourteen hour wait. Flower and moss failed breeding are usually a thirty minute or an hour wait on failed breeds. Happy breeding!
Tried plant/earth and tree/moss for clover and got 12/14 h fails. Now I have a 7 h in breeding cave *big grin* with lvl 14 plant/ lvl 13 moss. As usual different combos work for us all, but at least I've been succesful once now with plant/moss. If anyone wants to give clover a try. Do you think having the sham-rock helps? Hacking Cheaters I agree, MaLiesa. Why even bother playing if you're going to take out all the suspense and even angst out of this game? The LY dragon was a good example of how much fun DV can be: racing against time, frustration, joy and pulling together to help fellow players. Why would you want to spoil the experience?
How long is that new dragon gonna be around ??? Haven't even had the time to relax and sit back since ly dragon
My guess would be near the end I march. It's not rare like the leap year dragon and all other limited dragons so far have been 2-3 weeks
hacking cheaters I agree completely as well. When my son lost his rainbow and cried for days, my husband asked him if he wanted us to fix the game so he would have all the gems he wanted. He said no because it would ruin it. Even an 8 year old knows better. For clover: Also tried the whole moss/tree (level 11), moss/earth, tree/earth, plant/earth, moss and sandstorm & level 10 flower with level 7 moss. Nothing so far. Working on going to try level 7's flower and moss when this breeding is done. Then switch to poison 7 and moss 7. Another option is poison/flower with earth plain.
