Have had nothing but 12-14 hour fails and after 15 plus attempts I am now out of gems. Hopefully breeding two level sevens will yield better results.
I used a level 7 plant and level 8 earth and got a red egg with a 9 hour timer. Not sure what that is but certain it is not a clover lol. Trying plant and earth. Both level 8. So we will see
Nothing I know of gives a 9 hr timer. Hmmmm another new dragon?! Can you post a photo of the egg? I tried the same level 7 flower + moss that worked yesterday and got another 12 hr fail.
It is red with silver diamond shapes. It us actually a 9 hour 40 minute egg. I guess I should have put the minutes on. Sorry. Still getting to know the game lol.
Clover success! That's been my luck trying different combos & levels until I used 2 new Flower & Moss, leveled them up to 7, and wa-la, got my 7 hour timer. Congrats to everyone's clover successes! At least it will hang around longer than the LYD so everyone will have a better chance at success. I'm still feeling really bad for the few of you who were not able to get a LY dragon in time, like Osujxu.
That sounds more like it! Try using only plant/earth/tree or moss if u want to get the clover, don't add the fire element in there it'll only complicate things.
Thanks. I am figuring it out haha. I bred a 7 level plant and 7 level moss and got a tree. I used gems to speed it up. Do you think it matters if it is sped up or not? Maybe to get the clover you have to wait it out. Just a thought. I put my level 7 plant and moss back in to try again. I think I will ride it out and see what happens.
Speeding up the breeding or hatching will not affect the outcome. Usually you can figure out what it will be based on the breeding time (which is the same as the hatching time), but there are a few that have the same breeding times but depending on which 2 are in the breeding cave, you can usually figure it out. The spreadsheet really helped us in the early days/weeks. Also, remember that breeding the same pair can yield different outcomes when they are hybrids. It can be the same as either parent or any combination of the parent elements. Hope that makes sense. Also, you need to get to a certain level to be able to breed certain dragons.
Oh. Thanks. I didn't realize that breeding time correlated with the egg you got. I am only at level 14 so there are a lot I can't get yet I guess. I will keep trying though! I am hoping by the time my son gets home this evening he will have a clover waiting for him.
Can you move things from one island to another (habitats, dragons, decorations, etc.)? I am hoping (assuming) you can but want to make sure before I get to far into the game.
Just got 2 clovers in a row with flower level 15 and moss level 15 wish I had that luck a few days ago!
I used a level 10 poison and a level 10 moss in the regular breeding cave this morning and got a clover.
You can move things around, but you can't move two things at once, so sometimes you have to sell something if your space is limited.
Ughh, tried Tree (7) / Moss (7) and got another 14 hour fail. Tried Plant (10) / Moss (10) and got another 12 hour fail. That makes 5 of each now for a total of 130 hours fail time! That could have been 4 Pan Longs!
