I tried many times to get clover I want use my caves for other things so I bought the clover. You can spend enough gems quick so I just bought it. It looks like the flower I hope we get something better for Easter. Good luck to every one trying to breed.
Yeah, I bred 4 moss dragons in a row. So annoying! I think I'll stick with flower/moss as it is what seems to work best. Does anyone know the deadline for breeding the clover?
Whew finally some good news over here!! Level 7 moss and 10 flower and I got a 7 hour timer!! Man I love that feeling!! Anyone else having good luck?? 7 is supposed to be lucky right?

I'm having pretty good luck with Flower/Moss for the Clover. Got it on mine, my son and daughter's using that combo. Didn't work first try every time but I don't think I had to try the combo more than three times on each device. Unfortunately, when it doesn't work the wait can be quite awhile (got a couple of 12 and 14 hour timers, only once was a miss a 1 hour timer.) In most cases the Flower and Moss were level 10. Breeding a second was really easy. A Clover/Moss combo got it first try.

I think the main problem with breeding this dragon is the massive wait times. In trying to get the love dragon I could speed up 5 or so breeds with only 10 - 15 gems. I think I might save up and try to buy the clover in case my luck does not improve. At least I managed to get a leap year dragon before the time ran out.
clover is the ugliest dragon I've ever seen. and i still believe in my theory, backflip studios has rigged dragon vale to be similar to pokie machines..just when your about to stop laying/give up they give you a "pay out" (a successful dragon breed) it has happened to me with rainbow, twice. i have always gotten dragons i want instantly, but i barely play..i won't open the game for a day or two, then ill see on the fb page that theres a new dragon, open it up, breed, and often the first breed i will get the dragon I'm looking for. its actually not very good because theres no challenge. but back when i used to be on it constantly my luck wasn't as good. i have bought gems in the past though..maybe gem buyers have slightly better odds
I wish that where true I do not think so. I buy Gems every week I could not get panlong a second frostfire,sandstorm The second or I have not been able to get clover. It's all random luck.
I'd argue the Clover isn't the ugliest.. Iceberg is one hell of an ugly dragon, doesn't even look like a dragon, same with Crystal, Moss, Fog, Lava they all look like beasts that Aren't dragons. Also the odds aren't rigged by BFS, it's sporadic. Some people are lucky some aren't thats the name of the game.
I agree with Allanon on Clover not being the ugliest, but that's just my opinion. I believe some of the earlier Earth-typed dragons (Mud and the regular Earth) are the ugliest we have had so far. I just got my first Clover with a level 10 Moss and level 10 Flower (in that order) in EBI. I also tried just Plant and Earth combo for a while, but it never worked out. Did anybody managed to get Clover with Plant and Earth? It didn't seem to have much success on the Dragonvale Wiki page either...
When did the clover dragon come out? I just happened to stumble across the clover decorations when adding new paths. Damn BFS why don't they tell you about these things?! I got a 12 hour fail with Flower/Moss...shall keep trying! Hopefully I'll have better luck than I had for the LYD! Any truth to the rumour that if you have the clover decoration you'll have better luck at the clover?
I have been trying for it since it came out and the day after I read that it's all about lucky number seven so put out seven sham-rocks and have had no better luck yet,but only have two clover cottages so maybe need to put out five more will try that with lvl seven flower and moss heard that has worked also, maybe all together will be a sure fire? Will keep u posted
I tried in both caves with flower moss and got 2 12 hour waits. Afterwards, I tried the same combination again in both caves and got 2 7 hour waits! Now I'll have my 2 shamrocks.
So put out the other five clover cottages so have a total of seven of those and the sham-rocks now just have to wait till my flower is done incubating then I will breed it at lvl seven with a lvl seven moss. Hope that works will let u know!
Ugly Clover? I don't think it's ugly at all! As a matter of fact, kudos to the Devs for incorporating little details into it's design. I love the little clover flower on the end of it's tail! Now trying for #2. Hate these long fails.
