I didn't have every goal done (still haven't - can't breed a Sandstorm), but I HAVE bred Rainbow, Sun and Moon, using a Love Dragon. For Rainbow I used Love (first) and Storm (second), but made sure I'd got the habitat for it BEFORE breeding. Good Luck!
Thanx. Will give it a go. I'm determined (so far - my patience is NOT eternal, but finances ARE finite, at mo) not to buy a 'special'. I only had 48 hours between finding the Leap Year Dragon and it being removed for 4 years (presumably), but made it with NO sleep, purchase of gems (for speeding up - still cost FAR less than buying), and I realise now from reading this forum, LOTS of luck, with a few hours to spare! It feels like it may take me 12 or 13 years (can't remember how long it takes before the Year of the Dragon comes round again) to breed a Panlong!
Is the Dragonvale Worksheet still available? I tried to open it thru your link, but no joy. Also, some suggestions for Dragonvale itself. have only just joined this forum (my first EVER, so also getting to grips with Game Centre and Facebook), so apologies if any of these are repeats. 1. Obviously, more dragons. NEED black (not evil), and white (for Anne McAffrey readers) 2. Decorations. Please can we have stones of different sizes, and possibly more trees/plants of different sizes, for those of us who would prefer to see our dragons in more natural surroundings? I try to keep as many of the original trees, and stones, as I can on each island, but inevitably run out of space before I'm ALLOWED to buy another island. 3. Please can we have a 'storage' area? Each island has to be regularly redesigned to accommodate an increase in dragons, and new items/themes, and as an island becomes full (and we have to wait to buy another one), the only way to redesign is to sell what we already have - at a loss. It would be MUCH better if we could store items (buildings, decorations, maybe even habitats (emptied first, of course) 4. Please could the 'Fountain of Youth' operate in stages? Rather than automatically reverting to complete babyhood? Many of the uglier adult dragons (and even some of the more beautiful ones) look REALLY cute at level 3/4, but characterless at level 1. and it seems unfair to the dragons too, particularly the ones which don't seem to be able to fly at level 1. It would still reduce the overcrowded look of four adult dragons in one habitat. 5. Finally (for now) - when you intoduce ANYTHING new, be it a dragon, or a building, or a decoration, PLEASE tell us, thru an introductory message as the game opens. I had given up bothering to look until I read this forum! Otherwise, keep up the good work. Dragonvale is beautiful, cleverly thought out, very frustrating at times, but ALWAYS makes me happy to return to it. It's my favourite EVER iPhone game. But then, I have BELIEVED in Dragons since reading Anne McAffrey in my teens. Dragons RULE, undoubtedly (tho cats come a very close second, surreptitiously). PS I thought I was sending this for the attention of a Dragonvale developer, but I may have got that wrong. If so, I'd be grateful if someone will please tell me how to re-direct it? it was not my intention to BORE other forum readers with my suggestions, and unreserved apologies if I've done so.
Once you have two of a kind, you have a guaranteed outcome if you match them in breedeing. So, it's really not that difficult once you've got two. When it comes to the rares, it's simply a matter of being patient or rich. *haha* You either wait for long hours of breeding and hatching time (96 hours is a loooo g time) or you spend a LOT of gems. The tricky part is getting the two... By the way, where's girlpower? Haven't seen her for a while? Miss her cheering everybody on and ranting about impossible dragons.
OMG FeeFox! I absolutely LOVE Dragonriders of Pern! I still have the copy I read like ... 30 years ago?!? *ooops*
Noooooooooo!!!!!! Clover and moss........12 hours AGAIN!!!!!! I think this is my payback for having an 'easy' time with some of the othe rare's Thanks anyway!!
Yippee! Got my first Frostfire! Cold x Scorch both 10's, I believe. @Feefox -Those were some great game suggestions for the Devs, thanks for sharing your ideas. I'd like to see more plants too. For Clover give Poison x Moss a try, got two out of two tries with that combo. Just got the Fountain of Youth, what's the deal with this one? I reverted a Flower. Is it just to change some back to babyhood for cuteness sake?
Nope, doesn't work anymore. I think it was replaced by Dragon Wiki: http://dragonvale.wikia.com/wiki/DragonVale_Wiki So, Feefox, did you use Love dragon for Sun, Moon AND Rainbow? I'm trying for a Sun and second Rainbow. I've also wondered what has become of girlpower ?
Sun dragon... Heyy, ive got 3 moons 2 rainbows 1NY and 1 sun, but cant remember for life of me how to get sun again, i think its got something to do with the time of day but apart from that, no idea. Help please??
If you have a leap year and a rainbow, you should be able to breed them for your 2nd rainbow. Fog and lava worked for my panlongs. Sandstorm gave me fits. My daughter got it with lava and air. I got it with mud and air. Good luck!
Second rainbow Your leap year and rainbow will give you a second rainbow. Did first time for me! Finally got clover last night after about 10 fails. Plant/moss in EBC. Level 11 plant level 10 moss. Repeated straightaway and got second! Hope this helps.
Air Dragon I just noticed that the last element dragon, the Air Dragon is for 500 gems and cannot be brought with coins. I have been researching and some sites say that it can be bred instead of buying it. Has anyone here tried and been able to bred an Air Dragon or will I have to use gems to get it? Any help would be appreciated.
I can confirm that Clover/moss can breed another clover. Took me 3 tries. I just hope for some breathing time before the easter dragon is introduced.
