Got all the metals. Yup....was easy. But, that's kind of nice for a change. And I actually like the way they look. I also got the other two easily. The thing that stinks is I don't have an additional habitat yet since I'm on 28. So had to sell a fire one. Also, not a huge deal but if they are going to bring on new types of dragons, they should give an extra habitat slot. All in all, good relaxing update. I -know- if they give us an Easter dragon it won't be easy. Calm before the storm. Haha. Good luck everyone! I take that back....I have an extra habitat. Weird. Wasn't there yesterday.
My additional habitat showed up when my metal habitat was building, very weird and as I am now building another one I went and checked just in case it opened up another habitat available, but sadly not so. I will have to sell off one of my two plant habitats that I like having as my rainbow egg is due to be hatched soon, so I need to build another rainbow habitat. So far breeding these newbies has been a breeze, bit of a shock to my system, I'm not at all used to this happening LOL, but haven't got them all yet, so hope I didn't speak too soon here..... I also think BS have made these easy to enable us to get them all, but the next stage of breeding them with hybrids will be a different matter....we will all be ready for a challenge by then won't we? I am really surprised that the clover dragon is still in my egg market too? Yep, think we all had a double take on that one, or maybe it was a glitch. Real shame many of you ended up selling a habitat beforehand though, but If you want a second metal habitat it would have needed to happen anyway.
Haha, Jazbo.....my hibernation cave is full too BUT mine is holding max upgrade of 100! Admittedly, many of them are lvl 10 after feeding them up to activate my shrines, so figured I would keep them for now to help go towards the gold shrines activation, all that food to feed them to lvl 10, I couldn't bring myself to up and sell them all, so upgraded my hibernation cave instead Nearly the weekend for me yay
Yes, existing habitats are not enough to accomodate 2 of everyone. Oh well, at least we have the "Storage basement" that we can pull the dragons out of if needed. I am especially happy about the new selling price. If you breed irons and magnets you make more money than breeding airs and sandstorms.
Lol, after the amount of DV coins I've gone through since yesterday after buying my 6th Island, metal shrine, large habitats, this is exactly what I was planning to breed to earn some much needed coins back in my kitty. One of the forum members had kindly shared these two with me as great coin earners, I am still busily breeding to get one of each atm, but this would have to be the easiest lot of dragons I have ever bred, very relaxing experience so I am content to take my time and enjoy the ride..... Rainbow egg almost ready to hatch, good to have that egg slot available again Must go visit your Islands and see what you have
Well, to be honest, my islands are in a state of a little "redesigning". I Have Panlongs in ALL my earth habitats now. All the earth dragons were put away untill I am not so strapped for cash. Levelling all the new meatal dragons put some strain on me. I also accidentally mixed Iron/Lightning and have 24hr wait ahead of me. I also accidentally bred a sun. All in all I am happy about ease of breeding. It gives us a chance to do some housekeeping before the next "BIG THING".
Already done! Okay so I was impatient and used up my gem supply to speed up a couple, but I now have all the new dragons, through breeding I might add, just a couple left in breeding caves or hatchery! So now twiddling my thumbs again, trying to level up some if my dragons, waiting for the next update.... I am not complaing! I love the new dragons, just miss the challenge of having an elusive one at the moment.....ah well, it was good for 24 hours!
Metal breeding Is it possible to breed a Metal dragon? I bought an egg, but just wondering if I jumped the gun. Have bred all the rest. ( I think?) Thanks!
This is a no, you have to buy it for a mil like every other pure-bred elemental (except air which is water/fire)
As of this morning I have CONQUERED all the Metals muwahahahaha... ....They make NO money what gives with that backflip...
Well of course lol everything makes more than plant hence why anyone with more than 1 plant is crazy. I'm just breeding Metal+Lightning over and over to get the shrine up to silver and selling them for 1.5 mil. What I meant was they make no money in the habitats.
Hey everyone, and welcome back girlpower!! I was a little late to the update party, but I have almost all the Metals now. The 2 Plants are a fun surprise, love them both! And I'm liking that it's been easy to breed all of them, especially since there's so many! I think BFS gave us a present- they listened to our cries for some easier breeding. But I bet there's harder stuff ahead. Finally saved enough to buy the last island, now I'm broke for a while. When I get that next island I'll begin the big reorganization. I liked reading some opinions about how many habitats of each type we need. Was that you, Allanon, who said one of each is all we need? So I've started cleaning house and selling off many duplicated dragons and consolidating. But I have to find a happy balance cuz I like displaying each dragon. Not sure what to do about my many Blueys, now that they don't earn as much, reluctant to sell any of 'em. Good news to report here - finally got a 2nd Rainbow. Been trying for a 2nd Pan with Fog/Lava and got a 48hr timer! I have a Moon and a Sun already, so feels strange to hope its not one of those. Any reason to keep more than one Moon/Sun? -other than they look cool and earn a lot $. Also I DID get the achievement for having all dragons at once, even though I missed the LY, so it's nice for all the newbies - missing the Limiteds doesn't hurt you. Now I want an animated volcano! Must save up.
One thing I saw on the wiki is that while both Irons and Magnets have a 4 hour breeding time and sell for 1,500,000 coins when sold from a habitat or hibernation cave, the Iron dragon appears to be the only dragon that sells for more coins if you sell directly from the hatchery, yielding 2 Million coins! This makes Irons the most profitable dragon to sell, provided you sell it before you move it out of the hatchery - twice as valuable as Air Dragons when calculated per minute.
