I doubt it. My efforts to breed second frostfire included purchases of large amounts of gems. Didn't make it easier. At all.
That's the jazbo spirit, don't give up! Feeling a bit guilty here about posting my recent breeding fortuitousness (btw- pretty sure it's first time I've ever used that word) ... I must add that I've gone thru long droughts as well ( Frosty, Sun, Rainbow, Sandstorm!!, Panlong!! BlueFire ) .. it will pass! I had many Sakura fails before the heavens unlocked and coughed down two in a row. Many dodo fails as well, but they were short waits.. Earth/Chrome combos are still the best dodo makers. Thanks everyone, for the cheers on my behalf.
Went through a drought of not getting Sakura for aages...then bred 2 back to back! Now have 2 of every dragon
2 of every-- way to go! Weird, I was also granted my 2 Sakura back to back! Flower first, higher level than Tree.. Flower fails are SO much better than Tree fails!!
Crusty!!! I could kiss you mmmmwwwhaaa! It worked! My daughter got one right after her sun was done breeding. It was awesome to see her joy (six year old dimpled smiles just rock). Thank you for reminding me about that combo.
Yaaaay!!! Three cheers! I'm so happy for both of you! As it so happens, my daughter got her two Blooms with the Storm/Lichen combo.. but it never worked out for me.
Dodo I have been trying the earth/chrome & chrome/earth combos for a 2nd Dodo for days with no luck. I decided to change and tried Earth/fog...still no Dodo, but the very next try i went back to Earth 14/Chrome 10 ... And got a 16 hour timer..keep trying everyone!
Nice! That's usually how it goes, switch back to what worked before and.. bingo! Seems like we're meant to use the Metals in most of the breeding combos now.
Goes pink with embarrasment so happy the combo worked for you and your daughter. Funny thing, I switched to the fog combo trying for second dodo, then back to earth chrome as it didn't work BINGO second dodo in the hatchery now, so this seems a good strategy. Still trying for the second Sakura, and my constantly evasive Moon not quite at rant level yet but getting there lol
Hi Crusty. Have you tried Cold / Love for Moon? Oh wait, didn't you say you missed out on Love? Lol - not literally. Gotta love the Love dragon.. I also used Storm/Blue Fire for Moon... another friend got one with the reverse combo. Just an idea in case you haven't tried.. (sorry if this is redundant.. feels like I've posted it before.)
At long last!!!!!!!! Finally, not one, but TWO Sakura eggs cooking!!!!! Can you believe it? Used Girlpower's Tree 10/Flower 15 combo a zillion times and finally success in the regular breeding cave. Then put the same pair in the EBI. One hour fail, right back in and BAM! 10 hrs! used gems to rush & could hardly believe my eyes. What a beautiful sight- 2 Sakuka eggs in the nursery! Now on to the quest for a second Dodo. Thanks everyone for all your encouragement- this forum has the best group of cheerleaders EVER! Now, Jazbo you time is coming. I can feel it. So get back in there & put your Tree/Flower to work! Sending out Sakura vibes to you!
Hi Aly and well done!!! Fantastic news, So pleased for you! I've had another 2 fails with the flower/tree combo but I'm not giving up, will be trying it again in a minute. Will keep you posted! Scared!! Right, I have flower15/tree10 in both my breeding caves and they both say 10 hours. What is the betting that they are BOTH lava???? Too scared to hurry them up . Don't think I can take any more disappointments!! Will let you know in 10 hours!!
Big YEEEY to all of your successes with Blooms, Sakuras, Steels and Dodos lately! But really, I have a lot of ugly words in stock right now. For two reasons... Sometimes I have no access to this wonderful forum, that totally sucks. You produce waaaaay too many posts for me to keep up after 2-3 days. Most annoying of all is the fact that my gem tree hasn't refilled in a coule of days. I'm really sorry, begging my precious gem friends for forgiveness for not sending gems right now. I have no idea for how long. Status on my islands right now is going for gold again. Breeding Panlongs and money makers. Until we get a new task. It takes time. Have done 30lvl 15 Pans so far. *pheeew*
That is frustrating...have you tried powering down your device? what is also frustrating is not getting my dodo!!!!
