This butterfly is driving me crazy. Have had so many fails with Air/Firefly and Sonic/firefly. Have just bred another sonic with one of my fails so going to hope your luck rubs off GP and try the combo again with a new sonic. Wish me luck! On the plus side have a 16hr in the EBC from lightening/swamp. Will let you know what it produces

After many fails with water and magnetic and a few sonic and water I finally got one current and I have another 16 hour with rust and lighting thinking that is plasma. Thosetwo where very hard to get still going to try for a second current. Need more habitats and another island. Thanks for all the help and good luck to everyone.
Hi all! Finally got my first butterfly two days ago with firefly/snow. I have been trying for a second one but so far no luck. Briefly tried for plasma or current- no luck there either. Thanks everyone for posting what's working.....or not. It gives me other combos to try. @Girlpower, Jazbo, Foxy & Yasha- I'm coming over to the dark Zide. Time has been very limited lately, so I hope it's not hard to catch on to. It's just what I need- another addiction. Hope all you mothers (of children and/or dragons ) had a Happy Mother's Day on Sunday!
Yay!!!!! Thanks GP! Hadn't tried lightning/rust yet so just gave it a go and bam! First go, 16 hours!! happy dance, happy dance! Don't care which one it is, just glad I finally had some success! nothing to do now but wait.......bored now Twiddling my thumbs!
Congrats Aly and good luck with the other dragons. I've got either current or plasma using GP's combo but not rushing to find out which one, it's called the art of PATIENCE! I am learning at last and saving my gems Welcome to the dark Zide! Enjoy it and take it slow! It's easy and lovely to look at It's weird seeing everyone's comments about mothers day, ours was in March in the UK! But happy mothers day anyway
And a dark Zide it truly iZ. Mother's day is last Sunday in May in Sweden, so we'll wait another week. I've been quite confused myself. Patience is really boring by the way.

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!!!!! xx Have a read of the TribeZ forum on here, not hard but good to learn great tips from those experienced players (gold nuggets) ....warning.....very addictive but think you will really love this one....no rush, nothing spoils, can play without Internet connection....big plus! Congrats on your little butterfly too....hope you get your second one soon. Lightning elements seem to be much kinder to me than earth (thinking Sandstorm, Dodo here)
Yay, good stuff Jaz....mine was a plasma, egg currently in nursery. Threw those two back in for another go, 4 hrs this time Actually find the egg colourings misleading with these two..... It's yellow with blue waves....so thought that would be a ‘current' due to the dragon colours but when I looked on wiki it shows this as a plasma. The ‘current' dragon egg is blue with a teal couloured lightning bolt - same colourings as a plasma dragon???? Anyone else think BS are either trying to play mind games here, or did they accidentally....fudge it ( keep it nice)
Ooh sorry.. which combo is that? Btw, I just put in Sonic11/Water12 = 16 hr timer. Hoping for first Plasma. This is the first time I've tried using a Sonic. And I currently have 2 Currents: Magnetic/Water both times. But the second Butterfly just isn't cooperating! Used another Sonic with a Firefly = 8 hr. YeZ I've become Tribal.. level 16. Congrats Jazbo on your Current or Plasma dragon! I'm still working on the patience thing. They say patience is a virtue, so think how virtuous you're going to be! The dark side is lovely to look at but, I'm still waiting for the stirs of addiction. Well, every day is Mother's Day, but it is interesting that it is celebrated in other countries besides the USA but at different times of the year. One of the great things about this forum is meeting people from all over the world.
Thanks Girlpower! Hubby took me to the Apple store on my birthday but they were all out of iPads in the color and/or size I wanted! We called some other stores in our area and everyone was out of them! It finally came in last Friday and I am in love..... with hubby and the iPad. Did the TribeZ addiction set in right away for you? Cause I'm not feeling it yet. I think I haven't had enough time to figure it out so I will have to stop by the TribeZ forum for some enlightenment. Congrats on your breeding successes! I been trying some of your combos but so far nothing. The next step for me is raising up some new ones but I hate to get rid of dragons I've leveled up so high, especially with the cost of food. My hibernation cave is full and especially with these new dragons we need more habitats! Still trying to get my first gold shrine- how in the world are we going to level dragons up to 20 if there is no room to keep them? I originally started out trying to have two of each dragon, but now that is impossible. It's also frustrating to have some of the cooler dragons hidden in the hibernation cave so the moneymakers and the breeders can be doing their thing. Wishing everyone breeding successes!
Has anyone seen there will be a new "gem island"? Was just on Facebook. I'm going to guess it will cost gems like the EBC.
The gem island looks cool! And dragons that produce gems. Yea!!! I am excited. Also excited that today I FINALLY got my dodo. And the all dragons achievement. I am now going to work on getting two of every dragon. Does anyone know if you breed a dodo and a sandstorm if you can get one or the other? Those were te hardest for me to get and was hoping to catch a break.
I seen the gem island on Facebook it says coming soon and a new gem dragon every month. I can not wait.

Excited about the new update. This game did need an injection of fresh content (apart from dragons). I hope we get enough habitats to support extra dragons. On another note Tribez was released for iPhone. Finally can have a look at what you've been talking about.
Oops .. I meant to quote an earlier post from timeless. I tried the sonic/water combo and got a 48 hour fail.... Really shouldnt be playing DV so late at night ... Lol!
