One 24 and a 48 fail for the emerald very frustrating. Just got the 24 out into nursery and have now got 6 hr fail which is much better but still a fail. Did people put crystal or lichen in first. Still no current either but no room to try right now frustration hits again Btw have found tribez and am hooked lol
I'd like to see more habitats too but I'm not complaining, we just got an island that will hold 12 dragons. Truth be told, the only reason I "need" more habitats is that I've got 11 habitats dedicated to "King" dragons. If they'd just allow the Rainbow, Sun and Moon habitats to be upgraded to larger habitats that hold more than one then I'd be golden. In response to the discussion about the Colloseum, I always use the base dragon (i.e. Plant dragon in plant event) level 15 and I win gold 80% of the time. Hasn't changed so far since the update. I wonder if we'll start seeing gemstone events at some point.
Geez... I have no luck right now. Can't even breed a Crystal. Lightening+Earth=6hr fail. The only thing going for me right now (knocking on wood...) is I haven't had a 24 or 48 hr fail with the Crystal/Lichen combo (plenty of 14 hr though).
I've managed to breed 2 Butterflies and just hatched a Plasma egg (which I had to put in my hibernation cave ... I agree we need more habitats). I'm only at level 26! Put off trying for Current when gems announced... Tried Crystal/ lichen ...fail. Leveled up my Crystal to 13 ... 24 hour fail. Fed another Combo to level 10 and switched them Lichen/ Crystal in RBC ... 31 hours! Might not be able to wait that long!
Wow, I feel dumb. After reading this I went and used 14 gems to free up my Crystal/Lichen, switched them to Lichen/Crystal and...31hrs!!!! Don't know why I didn't think of it myself!! Thanks!!!
I don't think the order makes any difference: I did it the first time with lichen on the left, and got a 24-hour fail. I then got two shorter fails after that, also with lichen on the left, but I finally got a success with crystal on the left. I am pretty sure it's just the luck of the draw.
Thank you friends for gemming me and freeing my crystal to replace mysterious Houdini crystal. Congrats on those getting the Emerald dragon! My one daughter bred one first try with crystal 10 & lichen 10 (that order) who were newly fed from lower levels. The other three children and myself have had no such luck. Just hang in there everyone. I've noticed my luckiest times are around 11pm to midnight (everything of mine that has been rare has come then).
Sounds like this person has jail break cheater on their device to get free gems Emerald dragons can not be breed to create others.....and to purchase 12 Emerald dragons is 18,000 gems.....and it's $99.99 for just 1,500 gems. Do the math ....sounds a bit fishy to me

GRR...just bred lichen lvl11 /crystal lvl 10 and got 48 hr timer So far all Ive had are 14 hr fails and now this one. Except, I also had a brain freeze, haven't a clue what I was thinking and ended up breeding crystal/WATER in both caves....lucky for me those were both 6 hr fails, DOH Good luck to those still trying....really hope you don't fall in the 48 hr trap or the less painful 24 hr.....i had even been telling myself that 14 hrs ain't so bad.... knowing it could be worse.... EDIT UPDATE OMGoodness!!!! I just hurried up the last few hours in the normal cave of my silly brain freeze combo above.... I then got my last crystal out of hibernation, fed it to lvl 10, then bred it with my old lichen (luckily also lvl 10....cause I wanted to replicate Jazbo's success) BAM...31 hrs!!! Thanks Jaz....your combo has just come home for me too!! Nice to see our combos have now helped each other haha So that was crystal/lichen both lvl 10...(brand new crystal) Both caves are now tied up for a long time....but I can live with that and it would be great if the 48 hr timer was a sun this time?? Sounds like others are getting moon though....so that would be moon 5 for me
The general consensus is that order doesn't matter. What often produces a success is when you alternate the order...... eg crystal/lichen...next time lichen/crystal. Have read this many times on wiki and also on this forum....wether its still coincidental or not is anyone's opinion Same is also said for dragon levels not mattering.....I'm still not convinced on this one though, purely based on my own past and present experiences
Grats GP!! I'm still trying with my one little Crystal. Hey, I know how easy it is to brain fart (aka freeze) a breeding, done it many times.
Bah... Solid 14 hour fails since this was released, wake up this morning and hit a 48 in EBC and another 14 in BC... Sped up the 48, put them in again for a less annoying 6 hour fail...
Yeah, I have been wishing they would add some really high levels, maybe up to 50--only, instead of making us go through the annoyance of building more boring shrines, they would give us some ultra-high-level dragons to work towards...ones you couldn't just breed randomly or buy with gems, but had to level up to get.
