Gem gifting woes Morning all....yawn...late nights/early mornings argh.... Well I'm pleased to read a rant here and there, hope this now helps...still waiting for yours though Foxy In my quest to do anything to help you guys....just a silly thought here and you probably have done this anyway..... Have you tried breeding with the same level dragons? Eg...mine were both lvl 10 along with Jaz but have read on wiki also a few saying both theirs were lvl 15? I know I'm probably clutching at straws here but hey this is getting to the pointy end of the stick where anything is worth pondering? Gues you have also tried reversing them and using new dragons...silly questions I know Yeah, also been playing since Sept and its only right you should already have your birthday dragon of all dragons with such dedication Aly...listen up BF!!! To finish....mini rant of another kind....woke up to again see I had received gems from 4 names and OTHERS!! Dang, I hate this cause I am so dedicated to giving back to ALL who gift me, so please tell me if any of you gifted me in the last 8 hrs....the forum members names I have are; ANDY PANDY DARTH BOBO MALIESA Fourth name isn't a forum member This has happened twice in the last few days and another thing BS should have rectified by now...if they can fit in and other gave you gems...well they can omit that type and replace it with names surely! Im counting on you guys to let me know please
I really feel for you Aly and hope you get some good luck very soon!! Fingers and toes are crossed On a side note, is anyone having problems with game centre?? I can't gift any gems at the moment because all my game centre friends have disappeared!! I have my normal 6 to give, and a list of about 20 that I owe, and I can't blooming give them!!! I'm never going to catch up at this rate!!
It's night night for me now!!!! Yawn!! Sun shone in the uk today and we had about 25 degrees!! Bloody lovely!! I've had the same problem as you GP, the last 4 days I've had AND OTHERS, so goodness knows how many people I'm missing giving my gems to. And I can't give them at the moment anyway!!! Oh well, no Emerald for my birthday. A 24 hour fail, a 6 hour fail and a 12 hour fail after finishing my third 48 hour fail... The Emerald should stay in the market for an extra week or two to make up for the delay in releasing it, otherwise there's going to be a few disappointed players, including me! Hi, I don't post here ofter but I do enjoy the post by everyone (especially the rants) and find the tips very helpful. My fingers are crossed for all that have not gotten their Emerald yet. If it helps, I got mine right after I switched sides Lichen (12)/Crystal(11). By reading Wiki and this thread it seems that more people are getting it with the Lichen on the left. Special thanks to GP for the tiip on the iphone game. I am really enjoying it while I wait for my army of Panlongz for the Shrinez. Also a September birthday, can hardly wait for the sapphire.

Uh... almost ranted there.. but not quite ready. There's still a week left. Let's hold it together for a little longer, my fellow emerald have-nots. Flip-side, for me, is that it gives something (DV-wise) to do besides grow food and feed dragons. I guess I can breed extras of other Gems to fill out the Gem Island.. then there's always next year to get the missed ones. Hey, it's better than waiting 4 years for the next LY! .. hmmm maybe Backflip can have a Limited Jubilee Time when ALL the Limited dragons come back and we get another chance?
Hey dean! Welcome.. think I've seen you here before now. When my junior Crystal (10) gets out of his 48 hr adventure, I'll put him back in with a senior Lichen.. left-wise of course. Senior Crystal (15) is currently wrapped up with a junior Lichen (also left-wise) .. in their own 24 hr orgy. Wish I could knock on the door and break it up! EDIT: Yay,,, glad to hear you're back in gem gifting business Jazbo! - not for my own selfish reasons, of course. Just know it's a pain to catch up - if possible at all? Awww bummer ... sorry you missed it on your bday, Andy. Hope it was happy otherwise! Does anyone else have slow-mo DV? It's frequently sluggish lately.

@andypandy Happy birthday!!!! Keep trying for that emerald. Nobody had as many fails as I and when I was ready to give I got it. If you have been breeding the same lichen/crystal pair over and over, try switching the partners up with your other set. It seemed to work for me. Good luck!!
I am also frustrated with the 'and others' and worry about not being fair to my frequent gem exchangers...and today there was an issue logging on to gamecentre and I had to tap to continue and it also cleared my gift message...so if you could let me know if you sent me a gem so I can return the gift...the only name I saw was andypandy... for those who have forgotten... hookedat40 = schnizler Good luck folks...feeling like quitting myself...dragging those egg's across all the islands is quite the pain and I am so uninspired to redecorate. Have been working both caves with 2 lichens and 2 crystals...in various configurations.
I'd heard of it but didn't know what color ... googled it, blue/purple crystal. Quite pretty but don't know why December needs 3 stones.. maybe cuz there's so many of us?
Its the same part of character that makes people loose all their savings in a casino or pokies. I don't think there has been a single day since I started playing when I did not log in into DV at least once.
OMG!!! I decided since I have been getting crazy 48 hr timers I would throw the crystal/lichen back in to get a moon to display and what happens? A 31 hr timer!! My second!! I swear I would gift it to someone if I could. I had such a hard time with the first I wasn't een going to try for a second. Good luck to those still trying! Don't give up!!!
