I only have the one device. I didn't do anything different, it just started happening over the last weekend. Thankfully it seems to have gone back to normal. I guess it was just a glitch somewhere. I did see a post on the wiki about a similar issue. Actually now that I think about it I did get a warning that someone had logged into my account on another device. I didn't think much of it at the time as I only have one device and I can't imagine anyone bothering to hack into my Game Center. Who knows.
I just got a 30 hr timer in my EBC with Seaweed and Snow, in that order (I honestly don't remember what levels they are.). Whew...at least it wasn't a month long epic breed, but there were many previous fails...using all my new Fog dragons to level up my air and water shrines. I'll probably keep one cave dedicated to trying for another pearl, and use the other to try for the new dragons I haven't bred yet. Much luck to everyone!
Congrats to LB! And Amster, and Andy, and anyone else I can't think of ATM.. been speed reading to catch up. No such good luck here yet, got snow/seaweed going all the time in both caves. And.. I just got a 48 fail. Are the 48's always Rainbows? I'll display this one I think. Hmmm- do we get XP for displaying an egg or just hatching? Funny to read about Fog fails, I've only gotten Icebergs (lots), Snow, Ice and a Willow. Ah well... trying to keep it in daydream autopilot mode... next 10 months will have plenty of frustration if I don't practice patience. Yes, young padawan must endure or go home. No recent weird GC occurrences here.. I have seen the Warning about another device, but that's when I've opened the game on iphone and pad at the same time, or overlapping a bit.
So has anyone tried Lichen and Fog for Pearl? They make up the same elements as Snow and Seaweed so I wondered if it was worth a shot?
Hello...still no success to report...got both caves going with a pair of lvl 15's and a pair of lvl 10's...I got 2 48hr fails during my emerald tries and they were a sun and a moon. Though technically 48 hrs could result in rainbow, sun or moon... Congrats to those who have gotten their pearls and the other new dragons...and good luck to those still trying...
The general concensus on DV wiki, is a 48 hr time with snow/seaweed combo will produce a rainbow due to the elements in the breeding pair. No change to report from me either, still got both caves working hard.... got a snow from one fail, fed it up along with a brand new seaweed out of hibernation...negative result so far but will keep on keeping on, early days yet and (auto pilot) = stress free, yay Can someone remind me of this statement should I start to loose it
Before the pearl dragon was introduced I got "sync gamecentre to this account" every single time I logged in. Then the day pearl came out I logged in and had a new account at lv 1. Nearly had a heart attacked. Force closed the game, reopened and it said "there are two accounts associated with this game centre lv 1 or lv 30" you may only select one to keep and the other will be permanently deleted. So yeah just make sure you select the right account - always pay attention to those pop ups on dragonvale or you could end up back at lv 1! As soon as my pearl was finished being conceived, I put the same couple back in the EBC, With reversed order, got another 30H timer. When I was breeding the emerald, I think all of them were conceived in the NBC.. But I'm definitely having more luck in the EBC this time. And again, seaweed and snow both lv 15.
i'm also getting 8h on my last tries after i had to wait the 48h rainbow (my fifth) and the 24h forge (after a lot of 5h brass) i use 2 snow/seaweed combos but now i'm relaxed with having my first pearl hatched the pearl also swims and dives in the water
Yeah that was the message I was seeing then I got the one asking if I wanted to keep my level 19 game or replace it with a level 2.
Thanks Fox. Sorry you got a 48 hr fail. I haven't had one yet. Hopefully used them all up on emerald! Anyway, good luck and keep trying. I have been getting lots of 5,6 and 8 hr fails and just got my second pearl with a fresh pair. Lvl 12 snow and lvl 10 seaweed. It is funny, but getting them so early makes them feel not as special as emerald. No complaints though!!! Good luck and good pearl vibes to all who still need one!! Don't give up.
This is not fun Ihave already spent100 gems on speed ups and I have only gotten one forge no pearl . I do not see that the epic cave was worth my money. If they think it is so special since we have to pay so much to get and upgrade it all of us that have it she get our rare dragons easier. They need to make it worth the gems.
Finally got the magic 30hr timer so pearl is on the way! I had many many fails using my old level 15 snow and 15 seaweed, swapped them around, different caves and nothing. So, just used same level 15 snow and a new level 10 seaweed and got it first try (in EBC) probably a coincidence, but you never know with this game! And I have forge currently breeding in the other cave, firefly and metal. Lots of fails with fire/metal and this was my first go with firefly. Good luck to everyone
I have a copper incubating in my regular breeding cave. I couldn't remember the combinations of the newer dragons, but seemed to recall water and magnetic mentioned, and somehow that made copper. Now I'm going to have to figure out where to put it since my habitats and my hibernation cave are full. I either need to sell someone, or splurge and upgrade the hibernation cave.
I took a break from trying for a second pearl. Did a couple fails for my second Forge.....then put in my original snow + seaweed ....and got my second Pearl
If anyone is interested, the price for the upgraded breeding caves has changed. Not sure when it happened, I just saw a comment on WiKi about it and checked it out. The Regular cave in now 175 gems (was 600) and the Epic cave is 225 gems (was 1,250).
