Yes. Both times snow on left and seaweed in right. Good luck!!!! Sometime it seems if you stop trying for a time or two then go back to it, the dragon you are wanting comes easier. Don't know if It works every time, but it may be worth a shot.
Reduces breeding times by 20%. I got it and it does look nice. Shaved 1.5 hr off 8hr fail. Not much for 175 gems, but I thought :"what the hell, I only live once and it does look nice."
Re: price drop on breeding cave updates LOL....just yesterday I was looking at those ridiculous Gem amounts to upgrade these caves.....actually did contemplate the regular cave for all of two seconds.....I had the gems for that only cause those that know me also know I save my gems for that real stormy rainy day in the future.... Well guess what.....after reading the big price drop.... my rainy day has arrived and I'm gonna treat myself to the updates and shave that 20% off my continual pearl fails.... Those that already went and brought all those gems to upgrade the caves (I'm sure there will be some) will not be too happy with BS now...is there a lesson to be learnt here? Still not a sniff at a pearl.....hey Eugekava.....so what's the pearl breeding time once you have the cave upgrades.... Can you confirm it will be 24 hrs (if my head serves me right?) Congrats to all that have their pearl...heck some even have a second happening, I gotta keep practicing patience, staying calm, deep breathing...yawn

Cool. Reduced breeding time is worth spending the gems on the upgrade, to me. Besides, all I ever use gems for is speeding up the breedings. So now that it's not an insanely high price, I'm gonna go for it.
Because there are some dragons that I am attached to and some dragons that I like so much that I keep more than two around. Silly, I know, but that's part of the game for me and makes it enjoyable. I am at Level 30 by the way. Anyway, I sold a few and found room for everyone. I do not, by the way, have my sixth island because I haven't run out of room on the fifth yet.
Hi, Girlpower. Yes, the way I calculate the time reduction is original time devided by 5 times 4. So far I've had a lot of 8hr fails since the initial success. I am hoping for at least a second pearl. Don't know why, just want to have it.
Same here. I need to try some Jedi mind tricks on myself. "You will not be frustrated...you will not spike your cell phone after yet another failed breeding attempt..." All good now.

LOL, yeah I know your thoughts about levels not mattering....but humor me all the same ...I am also hoping for a second pearl, but right now I will be grateful for one....slowly breathing in/out along with self coaching for the mind...thankful for the other app, new update keeping my mind off constant dragon fails

After a grueling 6 days! -Jk- Many Lichens, Snows, Ice, Icebergs... not one Fog, which is ok - my cup runneth over with Fogs from a previous breeding (which one was that?). And one Seaweed. Well now I might work on Forge and Copper for a bit. Good luck dragon Jedi buddies!
i use the last island for the colloseum and displaying my eggs i have no luck with a second pearl (try with 2 combos) mostly 8h get fogs, willow, seaweed, snow
Just logged in to my dragonvale and have about 400 extra gems then I did last night!??? Wtf Oh well.. Just smile and nod and buy the EPC upgrade ! Weird but cool. Was about to buy more gems for the EBC upgrade glad I didn't! Pearl dragon is a joke. I thought these gemstone dragons were actually going to be rare. No longer having the desperate urge to check DV when there's no challenge and everyone already has about 5 pearl dragons. Just bred my 6th today and it's only been a week since release LAME!
Hi, Girlpower. It was Snow 15lvl/Seaweed 15lvl in the EBI. Tried the same pair in the EBI for days with almost all 8hr fails. I am just grateful that this pair does not produce 48hr or 24hr fails for me. Good luck to you. The only thing that I am certain of is that the same successful pair is more likely to bring success than a differnt combo.
Yeah, I haven't got a single one yet, either, and I have been breeding more or less constantly for them. And I didn't get a second emerald to display, either. :-( Been a lot of disappointment and not a lot of fun, lately, I have to admit.
Well done on your pearl foxy! I just have the one so far, so decided to give it a break and try for copper and forge and I got both! Current and brass for copper and firefly and metal for forge. good luck with whatever combos you use
I have had many fails also no luck on the pearl dragon. Congrats on the extra gems they should give us back the 1250 or 600 gems we spent on the caves before they dropped the price.Atleast like 1000 a little mad about that. I give them enough money .That is not fair to the ones that did not think they would lower the price I never seen them do It. I could use those gems am should others could to. Good luck everyone
