Just checked my game centre email account - the 400 gems was refunded from the 600 gem breeding cave I bought. Makes sense. I'm seriously shocked to see other ppl are struggling with the pearl. Maybe dv increases the odds for people who buy lots of gems or something..cause that's strange.who knows. Not buying anymore gems though - nothing left to buy..I only did because I won 100$ iTunes card and thought I'd treat myself. I'm not usually so wasteful with money. Anyway, Just keep trying sure every one will get it by the time the month is up. All of mine hav been lv 15/15 and seemed to get better luck with a new snow.
I had to ask for my gems I paid 1250 for epic cave and I still do not have them back. I give them lots of money I still do not have the pearl. I thought that to but it is not so. I give them 50 dollars in two days.
Now that makes sense - pretty cool your gems were refunded without asking. @Timeless- Hope they help you out too!
JUst want my gems always save my gems until I really need them. I pick the game I like the most and it is dragonvale. When I get a tunes card dragonvale gets most of it. Than if there is any left I put in pet hotel,lil kingdom and derby day.

They did give me the gems back I felt bad for asking. That had to be a lot of gems because I am sure they had to give everyone there gems back. It means we will not have to spend as much on gems for a while. I know my husband will be happy. He hated this game at first I had to have every dragon still do He could not understand why I was so addicted to this game. He still does not.
Hooked and timeless, good luck on those pearls! They will come. I can send some gems Your way to help. Try fresh dragons. I jet got my third. The first two times I used fresh snow and seaweed ad the third just a fresh seaweed. The second and third pearls came after aboit 8 tries each time with the new dragons. Also I have noticed that one pair always gave me 8 and 5 hr breeds then a 30. Another pair gave me only 9,6 and 48 hr breed times. When I separated the pair and re-paired them with others I got the shorter breed times and my 30 hr. Maybe onto something? Anyway good luck!! Congrats to all those who have got their pearl!!! I know there are several.

Okay hooked....here's my attempt at sharing some good luck with you For Foxy, Andy and myself....having both snow/seaweed dragons on lvl 11 has been successful.....in fact...drum roll please....I have just this minute got a second pearl with these same two dragons cooking right now, after my 4th attempt second time round....and again with seaweed/snow (in that order). I've used these two since June 1, back to back in EBC cave and dabbled with a couple of back to back combo levels in ordinary cave but no luck there. I decided to stick with this successful pair for a second attempt....seems like it was the right decision (or coincidence) Again, I alternated the order...but seems like seaweed first works better for me. I really hope this may help you and anyone else still trying for their pearl. It took many tries with this combo first time, but I just decided to stick with these two regardless.....pretty shocked to see this today after only 4 tries. Its gotta happen for you all, please just keep your spirits up there's many days left so keep both caves working hard, sending mega luck vibes

Ok tantrum time again. Back to back breeding, new dragons, old dragons, so many different levels. All fails. 9 days of failure is very disheartening. Well done to all of you who have 1 or even 2 pearls. Please send some lucky vibes this way. Even getting hubby to breed them isn't working this time. Still have 20 days to go so fingers crossed:

Congrats on your second pearl GP! happy for you! As you probably remember from my earlier post, I upgraded both of my caves after seing yours becaused I thought they looked pretty nice! Well, I've used them three times since I got them and got my second pearl, a forge and a copper, first try each time! Spooky???? I do wonder if your 'luck' changes when you spend some gems???? Good luck to all those still trying for their first or second......
Sending lady luck your way.....have you tried sticking with a chosen pair for a few days also? Sorry I can't offer more in the way of suggestions except just keep utilizing both caves (if you have the EBC) and keep giving it your best shot. This game is so random...some get theirs quickly, some dont.....hopefully those that dont will get their lucky turn within the next 10 mths also One thing I do know for sure is this game has FINALLY taught me some patience, not mastered it, but let's say its a ‘work in progress' My wish is that the rest of you get your Pearls in the next couple of days.....

It's really good to know that BS are reimbursing those that forked out mega gems to upgrade before the price drop, at least they are doing the right thing there..... Well, I just got my copper on first try too but on my third forge fail so far, so not sure if gem spending makes a difference....haha, maybe that's why I usually take a while with my dragon breeding cos I rarely speed them up and can't remember when I last purchased any gems That's patience at its best

Just put water/ magnetic in my RBC and got an 18 hour timer ... Anyone know what that is? I thought all the new ones were 16 and 20?
