Oh Aly!!! I feel really bad for you So sorry you're having a hard time - maybe your mini rant will have the desired effect and your luck will turn! Fingers crossed for you. I got 2 pearls within a few days of each other, unlike the emerald which took me a lot longer! I'm hoping that an easy time this month doesn't mean a hard time next month because that's my birth stone!! I was sort of trying to level up some dragons to 15 and filling my hibernation cave but it's too much like hard work!! At least we have eugekava to cheer us up!!!
Yes, I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder, because for some reason, my mud dragons are among my favorites.
I don't think the quicksilver dragon is so bad: it's cute like a pug or bulldog is cute. I did find the gemstone dragons pretty disappointing so far, though, especially the pearl dragon. They're VERY small, and not as sparkly/shimmery as I thought they would be. I hope they experiment with different looks, for the remaining months.
I quite like my two Pearl dragons. I find my self just watching their antics. Flying and diving in the pool...occasionally taking a drink even. I think they are absolutely beautiful. I really wonder what the Opal dragon will look like...looking very forward for that one. And looking at the calendar....we should be getting a summer dragon around the 20th I bet.
You can do this Alyjens Oh Aly girl......I am so very sorry that you haven't yet got your Pearl Really have missed you on here, was worried that you may have been unwell again.....so pleased you responded. Fully understand why you were laying low though, but please know you have many here to support you xx. Hopefully after your post, lady luck will have heard and come running your way with her turbo boost in sports mode (car talk, oops) I know it's a hard pill to swallow not getting a second Emerald (cos it was your birthday dragon) No, you are not being a brat! You have your own reasons for wanting a second one.....the only way to now look at it is to remind yourself you at least got one (some didn't) and now move forward with this darn elusive Pearl.....okay? You have been such an encouragement and support to many on here, this I know for sure so now it's our turn to cheer for you too Aly. I would so gladly gift you one of mine (hate that we can't) but this isn't a reality and not a proactive way to support you, GRR. I have no advice that you haven't already read on here...... The only thing I can and will do is to send you a gem daily as a gift (not an IOU) so please don't try and pay me back...it's a gift up until you get a Pearl....cos you are gonna get at least one.....I know my gem buddies will be cool with this, it's the only thing I can really do to try and help, plus of course give you a good dose of that encouraging medicine back that you are great at Here's the thing.....none of us know if we will get all gem dragons, we can only hope that we do.....my attitude is one of pure gratitude to get just one and I intend to use both caves to try and achieve this regardless of what other dragons are released....,limited ones are my top priority first. So c'mon Aly girl, chin up...sleeves rolled up, let's make this happen! That Pearl is just around the corner with you name all over it.... Please keep us informed and vent when you need to....stick with us Aly xx
Hi, guys. Thanks for your comments. I hate it when BS releases ugly dragons. I mean, if they can release Sakura, Love and Butterfly dragons which look amazing, why then do something like this? Anyway, I am glad you all had a laugh at least. @Lao-shu - I actually like the Emerald dragon, especilly its wings, eyes and green flame. The pearl dragon is ok but very pale. This is the same issue I have with Lichen dragon - it doesn't really stand out against the background that much.
@ AJ and GP I am with you Girly...sending gems your way AJ...cheering you on! I just hatched my first today...and I only got one emerald as well, so you are not alone. I am certain with an entire month to breed we will be more successful. Sending good love vibes to a cave near you....
And I have a bulldog. But no Quicksilver yet to compare him with. Aly---- my heart goes out to you too. Ups and downs, we all have em.. I didn't get a 2nd Emerald either, and still trying for a 2nd Pearl. Grr. Funny, for a while we complained about not having enough to do and now we have too many new dragons. At least most are here to stay, something to work on when time permits. Poor devs, I wonder if we frustrate them trying to keep us happy and busy. Well that's their job, right? Hopin you'll stay with us, Aly, and feel encouraged- - -please hang in there! Your luck is bound to turn. Well nn all. I've been up late working and will be up early to work some more. Deadlines. Can't check dragons for a while but didnt want to miss the forum! Really the best part IMHO.
Got tired of constant Pearl failures. So just got my first Forge - although still in breeding stage, EBI, Scorch 11/Metal12. Now the caves are tied up for a while. The reg cave has a 48 hr Pearl fail.

You guys are an awesome cheerleading bunch and are an example of why this forum is so great! Thanks for reminding me that part of the fun in this game is having a great forum like this to commiserate and laugh with. Well now, I'm switching on the Zen of daydream breeding mode and approaching this game with a new attitude. Still lots of time left in June to breed the elusive Pearl, right? I have a new egg for Snow and Seaweed so I am going to start fresh. This will be my second try with a fresh pair, but maybe this will be the one that does it. I am breaking down the Pearly gates! I am going to celebrate randomness instead of stomping my feet over it! Good luck and happy breeding to everyone!
Update for ya'll since I've been too busy to check forums, and I've been on Diablo 3 HARD! 4 Gold statues Level 20 Panlong 2 Pearls Halfway to level 33 Park Value of 3.8 billion upgraded EBI (almost ready to upgrade normal BC) no quicksilver yet and the emerald evaded me I have serious beef with upgrading the breeding caves though... how are we supposed to fit the dragons in our nursery if they're being rushed in the cave and having full breed times in nursery... backflip CLEARLY didn't think that one through... give us an upgrade for nursery to also have sped up times otherwise we're gonna be backed up.
