Good point Allanon! I may have to rethink upgrading the EBI. (already just upgraded the normal one ) You didn't get an Emerald at all??!!!!! Wow. That must sting- it's not as if you are a novice player. No more complaining about not getting a second Emerald for me. So sorry, Allanon! I hope that Emerald is the first and last dragon to elude you.

Helluuuu peeps! So, I just turned 31 and got +1 habitat. And in market all the regular sized habitats were announced as NEW! Weird. But not the first weird thing with thw latest updates. Kind of upset about the ugly Quicksilver. Still... I mean, I reeeeeeally think the juvenile and adult forms are UUUUGLYYYY! The baby is OK, despite the biggest chin ever. ( collecting water when a rainy day?) Unfortunately the little bugger seems to come to me quite easily, so I have one in habitat, one cooking in nursery and one in cave that will go on display. Wish I could give away dragons. Both ugly and beautiful ones, since I so far have been lucky enough to actually have them all. I really feel sorry for those of you that have tried forever and haven't even gotten one of the rare ones. Nice to see I've been missed, haven't had much to say though. Am reading your comments every day though. My DV family.
I just noticed that the pearl egg has changed. Is this recent or did I miss it before? I had one incubating and went to check te time and didn't recognize the egg. Lol. For what is is worth, I think it looks better. For those still trying, try new higher level dragons. Seemed o work for me. For all those who have the pearl, congrats!!!

Frequent lurker, rare poster. Well, been breeding for Pearls non stop since release day - nada. I managed to get 2 emeralds for the short time they were available, so pretty bummed I'm 12 days into June and still Pearl-free.
Yeah I gotta say the not being able to see the real/full breeding times thing is rather annoying (they should update it to show it along side the shortened times). Also notably if you move a gem dragon between gem habitats it resets the week gem count. Also still no Pearl for me after almost two weeks of non stop both breeding cave tries sigh.

I am another one of those 'lurkers' on this forum. I read daily but post once every blue moon. I have a few queries though. The link to this forum stopped working on my PC and I now have to type on my iPod (I have the texting skills of a walrus). Has anyone else had this problem? It's almost like this forum no longer exists on my computer. Fortunately I have had good luck breeding the gem dragons (1 emerald + 2 pearls). However I have had the most appalling luck breeding plasma/current (or is it currant?) I have tried every combination of rust/lightning, magnetic/water and scorch/water possible (changing levels, order, using new dragons etc.) and I have absolutely nothing to show for it. I'm not complaining yet because of my luck with the gem dragons but does anyone have any advice? (different combo's that worked maybe?) Any help would be appreciated. I am also still on the hunt for that elusive 2nd moon dragon (bred 10 or so suns without breeding them together). Once again, any help is appreciated but more importantly GOOD LUCK BREEDING!!!!!!!!!!
I know what you mean. I have every dragon now, including two pearls, except for plasma. It seems no amount of breeding will give me that result (I keep getting quicksilver fails). At least I got the pearls while they were out!
Yeah you can breed sun, moon, and the gemstone dragons as well even though they just have one icon. Actually i have 2 moon dragons and a pearl dragon. When I bred the moons i thought they would be rainbows because the 48 hour breed time but they were moons which was still cool
Did anybody notice that Pearl's egg changed colors? According to Dragonvale wiki, now it has a white ball in the middle instead of that white and pinkish hue we were used to seeing when it first came out. And that Sun Stone decoration came out... Solstice Dragon on the 20th?
Yup, Amsterdam told us about the change in egg design for Pearl yesterday. Had to barge in and take a look, and I'm really not pleased with the change. Think it was prettier before. Maybe I'm looking throigh the beer holder?!? One good featire with gem dragons in the Gemstone habitats is that countdown for the next gem starts immediately after the previous one is finished. So, even if you don't collect the gem right away, it will only be a week between gems. I haven't tried to let them sit just to find out if the gems pile up or if you lose them. Might risk one gem to find out though. 'Cause I want to know!!! A Solstice dragon would be kind of nice, but we've been breeding a seious aount of new dragons the last month. We're NEVER satisfied.
Yes, awhile back they did change the URL to this chat forum. All you need to do is delete the old saved URL link on your computer you have been using and just save the new one here
I'm actually a bit disappointed at the Solstice... I thought it would look more majestic and not, um, weird looking... It looks better as an adult though
