Well so far my two attempts at the solstice with blazing and mud have resulted in a 48hr timer and an adjusted 36 hr timer. Typical that I finally get my second Panlong whilst trying for a different dragon. Glad to see that there's another combo for the solstice though.
My first try with Blazing/Mud was also an Panlong (was my 31st) So far I know of three combos: Blazing/Mud Blazing/Earth Blazing/Lava And LBryan posted that they got it with Blazing/Clover. I am trying Blazing/Lava and will let you know how it goes.
Yay...congrats So happy it did turn out to be your Solstice after all.....this was a good confused ....haha, easy to do, been there done that myself, read the 24 hr timer wrong and thought I was getting one of the 48 hr dragons, and yes posted my good news on here too. Now I check both timer and gem count
Congrats to everyone with their Solstice dragon successes! As soon as my two latest Pearl fails are done breeding, I'm throwing my hat in the ring and hopefully I'll have a bit of luck for a change. it's going to be a busy weekend between DragonVale and that other gameZ.
No luck with the solstice so far....I'm glad to hear that any earth hybrid with blazing gives a possibility. Giving up on mud and will try the clover for awhile. I also read on wiki that the solstice can be breed with the Sun dragon with a 50% chance of getting another solstice. Bet that breeding chance is only during this solstice window.
There is also option available where you can pay for the real money to get gems or money as in other games, but that is not the suggested method. Why not to save money in a simple way where you make friends and help each other during the Dragonvale game. The process is closer to Zynga games in which you visit Friends place once a day in order to get more coins so here also just visit them once a day to earn 3 free bonuses in cash for each friend.
OK, I had to try it. Just hatched my Solstice and leveled it up to 10 and put on breeding island (now sanctuary) with a Sun, Soltice to the left - Solstice cooking. If they haven't come up with some secret, weird other dragon that can come from breeding Solstice and Sun that isn't a 48-timer... Hope you'll get your Solstice soon, Deeneez. I got mine with Mud/Blazing (both lvl 15)
Woohoo! Got my Solstice egg brewing Thought I'd got for a earth hybrid with a short fail hours...Sandstorm. And it worked!! Blazing 14 + Sandstorm 10
Saw my husband posted (rattler739) about my frustration and lack of luck lol. But I'm on solstice #4 now. After I got my first one I was teying for panlong, that's how I got the other 3. Also FINALLY got my rainbow!! I've been tryiń for that and panlong forever. Maybe I'm getting lucky .
The wiki says that the sun dragon can only be bred during daytime hours. Does that mean if a breed my current solstice with my sun during evening hours that I'll have to get another solstice? Also, hi, I'm Mathsquito/ktalexand (gc). This is my first post here, but I've gone back and read all 400+ pages to get a feel for the community and am excited to be joining it! My current Dragonvale joy is the meditation path I've set up with spectrumatically arranged eggs to line it. I'm not purposefully creating eggs for it, just using fails, but it's coming alng nicely nonetheless. Feel free to friend me; I would love to show it off!
Hey Aly girl.....still no go with Pearl I keep checking your nursery and on here hoping for the longed for good news. Maybe a break from this is all that's needed, hopefully a Solstice will be the kick start you need, then Pearl will be next.....x

I think taking a break from getting that Pearl actually does help in getting the Pearl. I decided to try for Forge (shortly after comes Solstice) a few days ago and happened to get both of them. When my Forge was still in the cave, I tried Seaweed and Snow again and nothing came up. When the Forge egg was incubating, however, my first Pearl decided to appear (thank goodness!). Do not know if it is coincidence or not, but I was sure happy when I saw that timer. Hopefully, a break is what we all need if we want to try getting that Pearl. Good luck to those still trying! Welcome, Mathsquito! I can't believe you read the whole thing! That's a lot of reading Your meditation path intrigues me. I believe that another member (TexasTed?) made a meditation path early on and it was pretty cool. I would love to visit & see yours. Would you please clarify you GC ID?
