Reading that it only takes Metal and Fire, only these two elements similar as Sun/Moon only need two elements. Fire and Metal should work and any combination of hybrids that contain these elements. Congrats to Timeless - I like the egg and can't wait to see the dragon. Very rare like Rainbow so some of us will get it immediately and some may take months Hopefully it will be around a while and not just there during the Olympic month. I was thinking today what Backflip was going to do to peak interest again - DV had dropped to fifth place in the US Top Grossing apps so it was good timing to create some more cash. Yes, temptation is there to start spending gems. Must... be... strong.... Seems like some of the combinations are like a minefield of long fails. My first try with metal/firefly gave me 4 hr fail. Probably magnetic. The gold dragon looks nice. Hopefully it looks good "live".
Maybe a gold? I just bred a metal with a firefly and got a 48 hour timer. I'm not sure if it's a gold or another rainbow or a sun.
Unfortunately it's going to be a Forge if you have 24 hour time with this combo. This long fail is going to require much patience going for the Gold. I suspect at some point there will be Silver and Bronze dragons, based on the coins in the habitat and the tie in with the Olympics. This is speculation only but think the Silver will require Water and Metal and will be adorned like a Greek olympian hero/heroine. Quicksilver will be the long fail for this combo. Good luck!
Still haven't got the Ruby yet, and they released two new dragons! Now they release another dragon and habitat! Which of these new dragons are limited? Cause both my caves are still focused on Ruby..
Well I got plenty of pollens with metal and willow whilst trying for the malachite - how handy of them to provide a double wammy combo for us! My second malachite is due out in about 40min and it looks like I hit the gold with my first attempt using fire and metal. Now I just need to decide if I want to try for a second ruby or go back to panlongs for the shrines... Happy breeding everyone.

Long time incognito but I keep up with the thread and love all the posts Tried a second brass/flower and got the 48 hour timer so I believe that's a go for gold....I hope. ;p Who the heck knows in this randomness. Can't get the darn malachite or evergreen for the life of me with many fails. But did manage to snag a ruby luckily. Better have since it's my birth dragon....hehe. Good luck gold hatching!

That would be kind of odd if a dragon that got its own habitat were limited. Only took me a handful of tries to get one. Got it with Brass/Flower. At least I hope it's one, they are still breeding but the timer was 48 hrs so chances are it's a Gold.
Gold Dragon? I hope! I bred a level 15 Fire with a level 10 Metal and got a 48 hour egg. I'm hoping it's the Gold?? I finally got my Ruby after tons of fails. Ruby is my birthstone so I didn't want to miss out on that one.
