good call on the olympics! They should include Silver and Bronze dragons and make the habitat hold 3 not 2 dragons
what's the fastest way to level up? i really want to get all these cool limited dragons but I can't until I have the basic dragons even available to buy -_-
The coliseum gives the most xp, but you can also gain xp from growing treats at the treat farms, and breeding dragons and selling them. Good luck!
Ugh - 3 24 hour fails so far. Have tried both metal/firefly and brass/flower. Has anyone found anything with shorter fail cycles? At least I have my second ruby hatching! Gamecentername - JRMash
Gold dragon I think I got the gold dragon on my first try! I used fire and then iron and got a 48 hr breeding time.
Ugh...almost halfway through the month and still no Ruby. My birthday is Tuesday and I'd really love my birthstone dragon before the months up...starting to get anxious. Send patient vibes my way, please!
That's OK I haven't got many people on Gamecenter who play Dragonvale and I didn't want the gems to go to waste. I'm breeding a water and a fire dragon right now, to try and get an air dragon. Chrome sounds like it would be a metal dragon hybrid, but metal dragon eggs are not unlocked to level 17 and are 1,000,000 coins! Is it possible to breed them from other dragons? I've got an egg with a crescent moon on it, I've seen the moon dragon in the shop so I think my egg will be a moon dragon? I hope it is, I have built the moon habitat in preparation! It's got another whole day before it hatches though Is there any way of getting gems apart from buying them or being gifted them? I want the epic breeding island so I can breed two pairs at once but it's so expensive!
That is the moon dragon. The only way you can get gems is by gifting and you can get 2 to 5 a day in the colosseum. The other is buying and the gem dragons.
Congrats on getting a moon dragon, they're good coin earners. I'll make sure you get a gem from me everyday, and you should definitely get the coliseum ASAP if you don't have it already. You can't breed metal dragons from anything except another metal or metal hybrid unfortunately so just be patient If you're after a good breeding guide try the dragonvale breeding sandbox, and I also use the Let It Guide Dragonvale Guide which is free in the app store.
Yes, I agree. This is the kind of habitat that needs "subdued" surroundings to do it justice. It needs to be a centerpiece of an island. We need another island to fit it all in while being able to have a certain level of artistic freedom. I have replaced "goldie" with another dragon design. Let me know what you think. Must admit, while hunting for Gold dragon I used up around 200 gems to speed up fails. Fails were mostly 3-5 hours, but got a couple of coppers and forges. That was painful. Got one incubating with Brass and Flower both lvl 15 in a normal Breeding Cave. Will just stick with this combo from now on. Good luck to those still trying to get a Ruby dragon. For what its worth I got 4 of mine with level 15 Chrome and Scorch dragons (in that order). I only sped up fails a couple of times only because dragons now breed faster that they incubate. Goldie Think I have a Gold cooking with Metal15/Scorch15. -- subdued Yippee!-- .. of course it waits to be seen/hatched. My second Malachite hatched.. metal/willow- 15's. PS I tried Malachite/Metal twice (for a 2nd Malachite) but got Metal both times.
It is weird that we have a better chance of getting a dragon with different dragons than with the same one involved in a match.
I have an island of Rainbows, that's what allowed to deal with the Shrines.... Now my thoughts turn to rebuilding for looks.
The best coin earners are a trio of 15th level Panlongs with boosts. Downside is that you have to collect every 8 hours. If you're not punctual they slip back to equivalent to a Rainbow... Moon and Sun are far behind.
Yeah very. Hey love your island redo! That's a perfect surround for the Treasure habi. Although I think it would have been cool to do Olympics themed dragons & habitat, don't think it's what BFS intends for Treasure. It doesn't look Olympic (to me) and as someone said, it should hold 3 dragons for 3 medals. Perhaps the reason it holds two Golds is that most of us collect two of each dragon and the single habitats (sun, moon, rainbow) max us out (on habitats) so quickly. Maybe? Eh, just a guess.
Just a thought Hey BFS Wish the Hibernation Cave would stay open after selling a dragon, it's a pain to get back to where you were, scrolling thru all the dragons. I know there's sort by type, but still.
