Try chrome and scroch that is for the ruby but I got many fireworks with that. I hope it helps. Good luck.
so this: May - Emerald = Lichen + Crystal [31 hours] June - Pearl = Seaweed + Snow [30 hours] July - Ruby = Chrome + Scorch [31 hours] *** NEW *** isn't true? :'( is there a way to cancel breeding process?
I have two Pearls but today they only yielded 1 gem. Is that a glitch? I'll sell one and not try for multiples anymore if that's the way it works.
Sorry I've been lurking... Hello all, Hope this finds everyone and their families (pets included) happy and healthy (and recovering well...) Just wanted to report that I have yet to get a ruby!!! And it my daughters birthday soon so I gotta get at least one. On a brighter note my lvl 15 chrome & scorch pair gave me a golden egg after 39+ hrs in the reg love cave. Didn't know what it would be so I waited till it was in the hatchery to report! Good luck breeding everyone and apologies to my friends who I havent returned gems to as I have been getting several 'and others' messages. Let me know who you are and I will happily return the gift. No way to cancel a breeding or incubation once it's begun. Those combos are right what are you asking?
"Try chrome and scroch that is for the ruby but I got many fireworks with that" im planning to try that after fireworks (fire + Water) but im getting blazing dragon for the 3rd time... so, should i just try chrome + scroch hopefully the result will be either fireworks or ruby? any other possible ways to breed firework? my breeding cave is empty... trying to get tips... thanks
Hi foxy, I think you only get 1 gem per habitat, you just get it quicker if you have 2 or 3 dragons in it try moving you dragons around and you'll see your countdown reduce as you put more dragons in.
Oops, sorry about the misinformation there about Metal dragon. I need to double check those levels the next time! Big congrats on your Moon dragon by the way. She's so pretty! Moon dragons are pretty special to me because she was my first rare dragon.
Wow! You are one lucky breeder Phantom X! Congrats on those Golds! And congrats to Foxtail, Yasha and others that I failed to mention! And congrats to Hooked and others for their Ruby! I got one Malachite before Gold decided to announce it presence. Have a few fails with Brass/Flower before switching Chrome and Ruby just for fun. Got a 39 hour timer so hopefully it is not a Rainbow, but I'll see what it is tomorrow. Good luck to those still trying to get their Ruby, Gold and Malachite!
Chrome/Scorch has been getting us a lot of Fireworks while trying to get that Ruby dragon. So it is a good combo to try. As for the Blazing fails (which do happen), it's a great way for generating coins or leveling up shrines. I got both of mine with Air/Fire (and in reverse order), but then I got a lot of Fireworks when I put Chrome/Scorch in the EBI. Good luck!

That's right! With 3 gem dragons in the same habitat you get a gem every 2 days 7 hours. Previously I also reported that the countdown to next gem stops when the gem is ready and won't start till you collect it. As if maximum capacity was 1 gem. That's not the case. Countdown to next gem starts again after a gem is generated.
It's cooking . Also got a fireworks, trying for Gold. I just got back into it after concentrating on the shrines. Anything else seasonal except Ruby ?
I sped up my 48 hour Ruby fail and it is a Gold dragon, so I have that (although it will have to go in hibernation once it hatches until I level up and can add the habitat) but still no Ruby dragon. I have another Firework fail in one of the breeding caves.
Oh thanks! In that case I'll keep both of the little buggers. Pearls are my only doubles.. somehow I missed how this gem collecting thing works. Lol
I just wanted to say that I love the Gold dragon. He looks like a heavily armoured samurai. Even his "face" looks like red samurai masks with white tufts of hair for moustache and beard. I can't link pictures but if you Google "samurai masks" you'll know exactly what I mean. The only minor thing I can criticise is his movement. When he walks he looks like a wind-up toy trying to walk on slippery ice. When he reaches the limit of the habitat he still tries to walk for a second or two before turning around. Its a little funny, but I forgive BFS because this is one of the best dragons they have released so far. I hope Silver and Bronze (if they do come) are as majestic. I named my gold dragon Shogun.
Great name. I'm 24 away from hatching mine, can't wait. I agree it looks like one of the best so far. It's exciting that most of our 48's are turning up Gold... perhaps a new shift away from Rainbows. Much appreciated by me. Haven't searched backwards, but has anyone else picked up a Crystal fail? Don't remember what Gold combo it was.. . probably Scorch/Iron?
