I see.. I saw in FB that Firework dragons (normally comes out from chrome/scorch) only have less than 24 hours on the market... hmmm wondering what would be the next (not the gemstone for aug, of course, it's given). Will it increase the chance of getting ruby from Chrome/Scorch? i hope so....
It may increase the chance of a ruby only slightly since it will be one less fail as an option. I just got my second ruby on the EBI this morning. Would've preferred a gold or rainbow, but a ruby egg for display works too!
Yep. Definitely says you have 644 gems. I would say purchase what you can before the gems disappear. It may be a glitch, but it's a lucky one
It could be a bug unless you managed to buy gems without noticing. You could also use those gems to upgrade buildings.
i noticed that the 700 gems that i got is $24.99... but no, no bank acct' linked to my app store yet.. i did upgrade my EBI..

Still have a week or so before things get serious. @Iosborne: I wish I have a glitch like that! Like others that have replied, better use it before BS realizes something! Or use it to speed up on fails if things get bad
So I visited and you're back to 12 gems ... was it a glitch? It might be possible to accidentally buy gems. I think a credit card or iTunes credit attached to your iTunes account is all it would need, but it would ask for your approval and password too (I think).
back to 12 coz i purchased EBI and upgraded it... i also upgraded my nursery and bought DGT.. some gems was used to incubate and hatch eggs.. i forgot to save for my cave..
something smells fishy about getting 700+ gems out of nowhere... anywho, I got my 1st slag and 1st malachite... back to ruby and rainbow alllll day!!!
I tried and tried and couldn't get a malachite at all. So I broke down and used gems to get one I heard most people got one from using metal and willow. Check out the breeding sandbox for other options.
I hear ya. Tried scorch and chrome only to get copper fails and a second ruby. Using brass and forge and getting nothing but brass fails. It is very frustrating!
i, too, would like to know how i got that.... 50+ yesterday then 700 today... hmmm... actually something happened (again)... my gems = down to 298 and 100k+ coins i took a quick nap.. then, i checked my eggs and (again) was shocked to see my gems = 82 with 1.3M coins... with this, I dont think it is good for me to collect coins and gems...
