Thanks for the congrats on yellow shrines.
At first I thought that there is no way I'd be able to get gold shrines - too much work.

Now they would probably come out with white (platinum) shrines. 50 dragons to level 20. That would take a while.

First up....congratulations!!! :D So deserved after trying for so long.
Thank you for the combo, second time this one has been suggested to me, so once one of my fire/brass fails finishes, I think I will stick with this one and the Fire/brass....see what happens till end of August ( time for auto pilot mode) ;)

You must have a lucky charm following you or something. I got my second Peridot incubating right now! Now I can finally move full speed onto the Seasonal (and then the Rain)! Yay!

Thank you so much! I have been setting myself this strange goal in order to keep myself in check. Without this "limit" I probably would not have been able to resist the urge to buy gems for breeding (limited) dragons. Now I can reward myself by upgrading that hibernation cave when I need to.

You know, when you first added me, I was curious and decided to visit your park. And I was very pleasantly surprised that someone beat my amount of gems when you first added me. I have been trying to find someone that plays fair (no cheating/hacking I mean) and was able to accumulate more gems that I have. So I have to thank you for making me believe that there are still players out there that don't hack and still have a huge amount of gems and congrats for making it above 1000 gems as well! Nevermind the purchases, it's still a great achievement to reach :D

Regarding the IOU list, I have a huge number of people in order of when they get a gem from me as well. Like you said, it is very frustrating that we only get to see 4 names and the rest just disappear unless asked otherwise. I'm on the same boat with being behind my list. I put my gifters on a piece of looseleaf paper (I'm a junior in college) and I'm still on the front page of it while my list is nearing the end of the back of it. So to those that want to gift me back, please take your time. I really don't mind if you forget to gift me, as I do believe your name will be on my list way down there :)

There are two new dragons - rain and ironwood (plant dragon painted orange).

I am sharpening my claws for a scathing review.

Yippee....your second peridot!! Good work and congrats :D

Thankyou for your kind words, I am so opposed to hackers and cheaters, I can't see the point and it's nothing to be proud of knowing they got to the top of their game this way. I keep saying my gem hoarding is for a rainy day....only had a few light showers so far LOL, but I also decided I wasn't going to keep on purchasing gems (even though its only been a few) cos that can really creep up you....I am happy to support the devs with a small purchase here and there if I feel the game is worthwhile.....I guess for me, it's always about the challenge in testing my patience (I am actually not a patient person) so this game really does test this on a daily basis and I actually enjoy it when I can just resolve myself with auto pilot mode which requires a bit of head talk to get there.

Anyway, your post was so nicely written and lovely to read.
We will get there with our gem gifting....my list lives with my iPad and looks very dog eared by the time I've marked off one page front and back ;)

Sending you good luck vibes with the seasonal too....phew, now I read there's two more new dragons.....drats, looks like Goldie will have to take another back seat, I can't keep up with all these dragons

Oh noooo, do we need to duck in case of more flying crystal vases???? Haha :D
My habitats are maxed out, my hibernation cave is 98/100.....when will they give us more habitats or more hibernation space to hide more dragons away :(
I just gotta have two of every dragon, so may have to try and get a few extras feed up (yellow shrine thoughts) then sell off to make more space in hibernation cave....agh, it's doing my head in  (that's my impatient side rearing up)

I actually bred a rain dragon (sped up fails which were nothing compared to hated crystal). Thats one good looking dragon. Somebody said it looks like goldfish - it sure does. Its actually one of the best looking dragons IMO.
After I breed second one, it'll be time to start on the hidden one.

Iceberg/air did the job for me.

On wiki they said plant/ metal work for ironwood, but I can't confirm.

Seasonal vibes --> Processing --> Puts Firework/Plant in upgraded EBI ---> 39 hour timer!!

Oh great, 2 new dragons. I don't even have the time to get a second Gold Oly and Seasonal yet. Don't get me wrong, I like the Rain's design too, but the devs really need to slow down now at this point in time. I think we have enough dragons so far ;)

Just checked on the wiki, it's still saying Metal and Plant for Ironwood. And the sandbox is suggesting Chrome/Plant.

I'm going to try your combo for Rain after my breeding cave is done with its Seasonal fail. (fingers crossed)

    Good luck everyone~

    Olympic dragon combo

It seems like a lifetime ago but I've yet to get silver or gold Olympic dragon and there's been so many new dragons recently I can't remember the best combo's. Any help would be gratefully appreciated to save me plowing back through the pages on here. ( which I will do of course!). On the plus side first peridot egg is cooking in nursery, tried for second with same pair but 14 hour fail. Have to say am not looking forward to trying for seasonal or gold with potential long fails.;)

I got my Olympus dragons with Air/Quake, but you can also use Butterfly/Tree or Sandstorm/Quake. You could use Dragonvale Breeding Sandbox to find pairs to use. I've found it very helpful so far in finding good combinations. Good luck!

My lucky combo was Blazing/Crystal for Olympus. 6 out of 11 tries. 2 gold, 1 silver and 3 bronze.

Also just got my first Seasonal with Plant/Firework on 4th try. Tried Plant/Blazing 23 times with no luck.

    Good luck.

Woohoo! First try with fog/mud is a Rain (agree- I do like this one). Had a few fails with Pollen/fog before switching the combo.
Sigh. My latest oly is another brass.... pplllpbbbbb. :p

    WHOO HOO.....you're on a roll :D
LOL, yeah I've also temporarily stopped my Gold quest too GRR!

Good news is.....after trying for rain dragon using fog/mud (both lvl 15) a few times, I decided to use another air (lvl 15) / mud (lvl 10) and got two back to back :) So, looks like a few are getting this one fairly easily.
Juggling habitats and dragons is getting bothersome though...hiding more and more away :(
