Congrats @gp, lets hope you're lucky with this blue moon as well! I'm in countdown mode till it's release, my kids think it's hilarious that I'm more hooked on this game than them!

Well I am on a roll...just hurried up my other combo from their (I've lost count) fail....and as mentioned thought I would stick with reverse order, so second try with mountain/rain.....Ta da.....another sapphire cooking...birthday wishes now fulfilled and break away looking stress free... (unless BS throw another spanner in the works) so that's both caves tied up for just under 24 hrs....won't leave much time for blue moon....but presently I am just over the moon' @ Adaecia....thank you for your kind wishes...LOL, it's surreal how dedicated' we become to DV isn't it? Looks like you will be taking off full stream ahead as soon as this blue moon dragon is released...hope you get one, good luck Good luck to all of us for this limited dragon
Well done GP, so glad you've got your first one cooking! Just got my second, did my usual strategy of using my existing pair (15's) to get the first, and bred a completely new pair (took me this long to get second rain) levelled both to only 7 banged them in the EPC and voila! Thanks so much to everyone giving me gems at the moment, still get completely booted out when I hit the friends button so can't reciprocate yet but keeping a log so I can repay eventually. I have complained to BF too and got the same answer. Now have a spare breeding cave, do I keep it open to try for the blue moon or sneak something else in quick?

Had these panlongs forever, guess you haven't visited for a while....trying to earn some coins with them Well done with getting your sapphire oh so early, nice work, wish I could visit but until BS fix this glitch....friends parks are no go zones Good luck with Blue moon Jaz......think I may have to relent and use some gems to hurry up one of my much anticipated sapphire dragons to free up a cave for blue moon breeding....my rainy day gems now have a job to do

Congrats on getting your second one....sounds like you have a good strategy going there that's working very well for you...once you get your offspring that is LOL.....counting myself lucky that I can at least gift gems....my IOU list is already long enough....BS will surely have a fix real soon, feels like its taking forever doesn't it? (my impatient side showing) Maybe you could just breed something with short breed time for some coins....brass/brass for example....maybe it's just me, but I don't like my caves sitting idle at all....my dragons gotta earn their keep or they won't get fed haha. Blue moon Full picture of blue moon dragon has just been posted on their Facebook page! Apparently it will be released in the next 2 hours and will only be available for 36 hours and won't return for another 2-3 years!!! No pressure there then!!!
Thank you Adaecia . Very helpful hybrid breeding tip. I've done all the dragons on the 'goals' menu so far and now I'm wondering which of the other rare dragons I should press my luck.
Just under 24 hrs in the upgraded cave, had to check with sandbox 5 times to make sure!!! Don't know what the full time is but shorter than normal moon
Two blue moons waiting. Both times used level 12 firefly and storm back to back. 29 1/2 hour timer. Good luck everyone!!!!!
Looking at the sandbox now. Either 29hrs + 31 mins or 23hrs + 37 mins. Congrats on your new dragon This is going to be tough. Haven't been playing long but I've tried making a Moon Dragon before but without any success. I'm hoping it'll be different with the Blue Moon.
First try with level 15 Firefly and Storm and have a 23.37 timer in an upgraded cave. I have NEVER gotten a rare dragon on the first try so maybe they have made it a little easier on this one.
According to the Wiki, same combos for the regular Moon work (must contain Lightning and Cold.). I'm trying Fitefly/Storm on the EBI and Scorch/Cold in the EBC. Does using a non-hybrid hurt or help my chances?
