I bought both but if I could only buy one the other breeding cave.More chances at getting the dragon.
The breeding ground first, it gives you 2x the chances to get the limited dragons (as you can have two pairs breeding at once).
You should only get the dragonsai tree if you have more than 3 gamecentre friends playing with you. Otherwise it is a waste. If you haven't already, add players from these forums. You'll get a lot of gems that way.
Hey Foxy girl....welcome back! Aww, I am sooo happy that you got your Blue moon in the nick of time phew! That one got me all agitated for a day...had my first taste of serious gem use and it didn't help at all, apart from giving me more opportunities to breed fails LOL..... Yep, Sapphire finally came through, two breeding on the same day actually, so that was a massive relief due to being away the last 8 days of Sept. Now a little drum roll...... I just hit the jackpot.....got me a GOLD breeding at looong last!!!! Oh boy, oh boy.....I had to double check twice haha. I've tried brass/fire numerous times, then everything else too....talk about brass and forge dragons galore.....those forge dragons love me they do. Anyway....I went back onto wiki sandbox to see what else I could use that wouldn't result in a forge (or rainbow)....I kept coming back to brass/fire. Decided to tweak it a little cos I continually get brass..... Used my old lvl 15 fire then got a newbie brass dragon out of hiding, fed it just to lvl 4....order used was fire/brass.....bingo, first try! Then to top it off, my lvl 14's mountain/rain came through for a third sapphire!!! Fourth try (stopped to get blue moon) and this is my second Sapphire with this pair.....the order of rain/mountain wouldn't work for me, thanks to Eugekava (reminded me to give reverse order another go).... Speaking of gem dragons everyone...... Bit cheesy, but I renamed my first sapphire after my forum name (sentimental reasons) but that's led me to rename my other dragons to my DV friends birthdays May - only got one Emerald but two DV friends, so still deciding on how to combine the two names (Alyjens and Andy Pandy) any thoughts anyone? June - Who had June Birthdays as I have 3 pearls to rename? Julys two rubies have been renamed Jazbo and Yasha....hope I didn't miss anyone else??? Aug - only got one peridot...think it was someone's birthday on here??? Sept - one after er um....me, the other once hatched will be Dena (dean288367 will get link to this name, sapphire looks girly to me) Who's got Oct, Nov birthdays? Dec - one dragon is reserved with the name FOXY ( I better get one) Anyway, this is to honour my DV friends

@Girlpower Awwww! I'm so honored that - 1.you're naming a future dragon after me (you will get one even if I have to surrogate breed it myself) and 2.you REMEMBER my Bday is in Dec.! Wow! As soon as I get a Sapphire she will be Girlie or Girlpower. My thought on your Emerald's name - Alypandy? And MEGA-CONGRATS for all your recent breeding success! Whoop! Whoop! And WHOOP! By the way, @AK, I have a Cherry Blossom named Kyoto inspired by your name... she's had the name since the day she hatched. I just thought it fit.
Actually, i was ranked 26th soon after it reached the US market, i think it was canada only for a month or two before. Check your App Store, under purchased. You'll see the spdate you started. F.
No real point to it as there's 12 spor Ts and there will be 12 dragons..... (okay, you get a couple more gems) but you'll hafta get rid of a lot of them. I do get pairs of all, EXCEPT the gems, so I can breed more at a whim... F.
@TIMELSS, HLW & lildarien Thanks for the answers . I already have some dragonvale friends but they're from my happy street friends. I tried gifting some gems but only got a few responses and some not regularly. I'm thinking they've either stopped seriously playing or they've regular gem buddies already. @girlpower Ooh a Gold Dragon! Congrats! More reason for me to get the Epic Breeding. Which dragon are you trying for next or are you wanting more Sapphires?

What an awesome and thoughtful idea! I put no thought or effort into naming mine. I got bored of naming after Greek Gods and Titans, so they're just called May, June, July and August. I did leave out September on purpose, because I don't believe I have named my Saphire yet. I wonder who's birth month it is... Hmm

Still needing Sapphire. Trying not to panic cuz there's still half a month. Just realized I need to build a Moon habitat for this pending Blue Moon hatchling and thought "oh great, what am I going to sell?" .. then saw that I still have one habitat to build - all this time at 35 and I hadn't used it!

@ Foxy you haven't missed a habitat! They only added the extra ona with the last update. Shame they didn't leave the sparkly bits on the moon habitats
Been watching the iPhone 5 and new iPod Touch announcements today. I wonder if BFS will update DV to take advantage of the new larger screen. Also, would that change the way it looks on older devices since the aspect ratio is different?
