Well yesterday, I wasn't able to do that anymore either. Tried refreshing DV, but that didn't work, so I rebooted my iPad which solved that issue, but I still can't visit friends....the page starts to load, then stops and crashes back to the home page everytime...GRR! I like checking up on my friends and seeing their new dragons...grabbing a few party hats along the way Would be way worse if I couldn't send gems too though
Hi guys. Was MIA for a few days. I absolutely love the paper dragon especially the fact that it cruises as if it were a kite. Really outstanding effort! 25 gems and a statue was appreciated too. Got both my papers with flower/mountain. Had a total of 3 fails. Good luck everyone.
Hello all I was on the forums a little while about a month ago. My hubby and I have been renovating a house and moved in a couple of weeks ago and life has been a little hectic due to that. Thank goodness I can play DV on my phone too I've only been playing since July so the highest my dragons can go so far is level 10. With all of my recent fails I have been working on my shrines, but not quite there yet. I have been previously lucky and have managed to get all of the limited time dragons and gem dragons since I started, including the Ruby, which is the month I started! Alas, my luck has run out though. I can't tell you how many mountain fails I have had breeding for a Sapphire I have been breeding nonstop in both the island and cave, minus last weekend for the Blue Moon. I have had no luck yet either. Anybody else have luck getting a Sapphire with level 10 dragons? Good luck to everybody getting the Paper dragon this week. Yea!! FINALLY got my silver dragon using air and mine. They are both lvl 12 I think.... Thank you for whoever suggested it, it worked for me first try Now to catch us on all the other dragons I have been slacking on.
I got mine using flower and mountain. I need two back to back.....but there seemed to be a lot of combinations. I have learned if one is not working for ou switch up the combos. What works for one person doesn't always work for another.
I used level 10 dragons for the Sapphire. I don't think the level matters that much anymore when breeding. Just have patience and diligence, you'll get it. You still have half a month to go. I usually just dedicate the island to breeding the latest Gemstone Dragon until I have at least one plus a display egg. I leave the cave open for breeding the latest limited or any other dragon I'm missing (such as the Silver.). I haven't missed a Gem (plus display) yet. But I'm very diligent about checking in several times a day so that I'm continuously hatching and breeding. I will say with the Peridot it did come down to the last couple of days before I got my display egg. As it got close to the end of the month I did have both the island and cave dedicated to getting it.
I got mine with level ten dragons. That's great that you got all the other gem dragons so far. I missed two of them. Good luck with the Sapphire!
You're not the only one. I have been trying almost nonstop for Silver besides those weeks that Sapphire, Blue Moon and Paper came out. Silver definitely took first place in my hardest to get dragon book. Congrats to everyone who just got Silver since I lasted posted (Amsterdam and a few others I believe)! You are so lucky! Hello Playswithpaper! I usually use level 10 dragons to get most of my dragons, so the levels probably do not affect breeding chances. Surprisingly, I got my Sapphires with BOTH being level 5. This a first for me, since I usually have more luck with level 10s. I love how your name fits with the anniversary dragon. Did you happen to have predict the Paper dragon coming out by any chance?
Paper's Elements I just realized the Paper dragon's elements are an acknowledgement to the first 4 elements that we started with in Dragonvale. I'm probably a bit late, but I found it pretty interesting lol! Too bad that the order of its elements is not the order they were introduced to us in (plant being switched with fire), otherwise, it would be awesome! Hello all. Not as easy as I thought but I'm home. My nephew actually kept the game going the last couple of weeks, so I thank him. I will now give gems to my regularly scheduled and thank you for understanding. My neph used up gems to get the one hatched sapphire and egg, and said the paper was impossible. Guess I will try the Sakura/something combo for a bit. The plant/ something he has been trying has been a no go. I have noticed that the game is very slow in all responses. I do not get dropped or booted but just opening up th ebi takes a full minute. And trying to go to friends is like pulling teeth. I can do it just not very much fun. Can't hold onto a thought, but I have missed the game and the forums. I will do better in giving correct combos and lvls. Brain is like me right now, cracked, wired but mending. So now I give tons of luck back to the forums...whatever you are trying for, may it be your next hatching. Luv to all Korvaire

I thought about you and wondered if you where ok did you see the paper dragon if you play this weekend you get 25 gems I know you may not be feeling like it just thought I would tell you. Ain't that the truth! Got a paper, absolutely love the design. I also have one sapphire and trying for a display (since the egg is so pretty). My tough dragons are Gold and Silver. Can't seem to get either! I'm on bed rest due to pre-term labor, so have LOTS of time to pay attention to the game this week
Got a third Sapphire, so I'm done with gem dragons for the month. Also got a second paper (Flower and Mountain...I just breed them over and over until I get what I want.) Now on to trying for Silver until October rolls around...or they put out another new dragon. Still can't visit friends. I can give gems, but I have to shut off my iPod and then reboot it every time in order to do it, otherwise the game closes when I open up my Friends list. I tried the same thing in order to visit friends, but no go...the game looks like it's going to let me visit, but then closes.

Glad to hear that your surgery went well and that your nephew kept your game going for you. Hope you are 100% very soon. Sakura/Cold worked for me on the first Paper but no luck YET on the second one. I keep getting Frostfire ! Can't believe I am complaining about getting Frostfire . Good Luck.
