Wow, reading your post re: not being able to visit friends is like duplicating my issue also....I'm doing the ecxact same thing as you in order to gift gems, but no go when it comes to visiting friends....the progress bar gets about 1/4 way along, then stops, nothing for a couple of seconds then crashes straight back to homepage evey time...damn frustrating....plus the lag time when trying to breed is ridiculous...time for a follow up email again Well done on 3 sapphires and two paper dragons.....I hope I have another one or maybe even two cooking....could both end up being moss, fingers crossed EDIT UPDATE. They were BOTH moss Grr...back to the drawing board

I really hope surgery was fully successful for you and you feel a little better each day as you heal. Please take it easy and get lots of rest How nice of your nephew to continue with DV for you. Got my first paper dragon with mountain (lvl 14) / flower (lvl 15) My other mountain / flower combo were both lvl 15 and after a few days of back to back breeding still no go. I also tried a few other combos to no avail, so last night put my two successful combos back in and got the correct timer (still breeding so not sure if paper or moss) this morning I decided to try poison and my other mountain (both lvl 15) and got the correct timer first try....again it's a matter of waiting (may hurry the last 1-2 hrs) Hope this helps EDIT UPDATE. I ended up with only one Blue Moon, sure hope it turns out to be possible to breed a second with common Moon. - Oops just checked Sandbox, and alas no. That pairing only produces Moon. boohoo
*i'm online most of the time checking updates and tips... still no luck with paper... waaaaaaaaah! tried lava/evergreen - evergreen/lava poison/mtn - mtn/poison flower/mtn - mtn/flower.... still no sign of red backflip egg.. :'(
well my evergreen/panlong combo has netted me my first paper dragon (which I named Origami), and I may have another one cooking - will know in a couple more hours. I am now breeding my paper with a chrome aiming for paper #2, as well as seasonal and silver. Once I've got the second paper I'll switch to a combo for seasonal and silver only. My hardest to get dragon so far has been the panlong. It took me over 2 months to get my first one... On dragon names, I don't always rename my dragons, but this months' sapphires have been named in honour of my mother and my youngest offspring, as they both have birthdays this month. I always rename the dragons I'm breeding with to start with an 'A' so I can find them easily. eg Tinker becomes Atinker.
I'm having no luck with the paper dragon so far. Does anybody know how long it takes to breed one in the upgraded breeding island and cave?

Gifting gems Does anyone know if there is any schedule for being able to gift a gem to someone you gifted to the previous time? For example, I gifted friends X, Y and Z Saturday at 3 p.m. I could not send another gift to those same friends at 11 p.m. Sunday, 32 hours later. When does the gifting list reset? This is bothersome because I now have to wait two days before I can gift the same friend again. Thanks for any help. To those of you who are sending gems to me, Aithne1116, thank you! I keep a list and will absolutely return the favor. I just got the Dragonsai tree so I can return your generosity quicker.
@Tuilelath, I think the gems are suppose to reset every 24 hrs. I have had the same problem you are having and have found that if I force close the game it normally will fix the problem.
I meant that your other GC name (Osborne?) had disappeared from my DV friends list and I wondered where you'd gone.
Not to be a wet blanket, but may I remind that Moss is another 9:36 timer. Are there any other same timer fails for Paper?
I like your thinking.. Paper/Chrome. Except there are so many fail possibilities. Hope it works for you!
Oh my goodness! I also named my first Paper "Origami"!! But I'm not sure what I should name my second one though (it's in the hibernation cave). And talking about Paper, if anybody wants another combo to try, I also got them both with Sakura/Cold. However, I do warn you that this combo can result in THREE 10-hour possibilities: Moss, Frostfire (which I needed a second one), and that Paper. Yep, depending on the combo used.....you can get Cold, Bluefire, frostfire, Malachite, ironwood. All have 9:36 timer (upgraded cave) As mentioned BOTH my 9:36 times were annoying moss....go figure
Ha! I like that! ..... and yes, I probably would have named mine Origami if I'd had one before you all mentioned it. Still don't... have one that is. grrr ...Guess I'll name it Origrrrmi .. if I ever get one.
Origrrrmi will be a great name! I got second paper with the evergreen/Panlong combo as well, and then a third with paper/chrome. I named my second paper dragon Parchment. I think the only possible combo that will produce both silver and seasonal is paper/chrome so I'm gonna going to stick with that for now.
