Most of my XP came from the bonus spin after getting a duplicate fragment on the wheel. Usually get coins and treats on the normal wheel.
No joke, I have gone all the way up to level 40, just on the dragon races...and I am STILL working on the last fragment of the second set. This is so boring--and I'll have to do it all again for the third set, even once I do get that fragment! I really wish the prize just popped up at the end, instead of making us watch that annoying wheel animation. The prize is predetermined, anyway, so why even bother making us spin?
I agree, 2750 food is ridiculous. How much is one feeding when a dragon is 15?? Every time I get food, I just seethe. I'd probably appreciate it if we got 50k food, I do always need food. Just ran 10 races, still missing last piece to Time Claw. Can't figure out what "improvements" were supposedly made.
Grays! I have 4 pieces left and I'm assuming by the time I get them ill be lvl 40 as well ha! Btw, does anyone know how long the ghost is available? I've been trying earth+mountain for 3 days with no luck, not even a dodo!
Congrats on getting Kairos How many habitats are there at level 40 ? Found the answer, 41 habitats at level 40.
Racing wheel Morning all, Been trying to get the last fragment of stage one....well, the wheel just stopped on it, then of its own accord, moved forward three more spaces and stopped on a piece I already had....gave me a bonus spin and as a final insult rewarded me with food treats! Talk about rigged Won 5 more races, noted on the last race that my needed fragment wasn't even on the spinning wheel at all....all toys have now been thrown from my pram, not happy Congrats to those that have raced and won Way to go Andy, wow...you really wanted that one LOL
I feel your pain GP, the same thing happened to me yesterday. Not sure if it was the piece I needed but the wheel stopped for about 3 seconds and then moved again and I got food !! On the bright side, I figure with all the food I am winning I should be able to crown one of my dragons in about 2 years
Was going to go visit Andy's park to see his dragon, but I see I have the old "can't visit my friends because the game shuts down" glitch again. Oh, and yes I've had that wheel stop on good things three times today...then it moves forward to food. I can see it's going to take a long time for me to get the Legendary Dragon...sigh. I'm not that good at racing to begin with (definite hand/eye coordination issues), so about 30% of the time I don't even place to spin the wheel. I've been racing all day today, and have only gotten pieces I already have...so yeah, it's going to be months. On the bright side...I put a Mountain and my Dodo back in the cave and got my third ghost dragon in a row with that pair...I like the ghost dragon.
Yes, that last bloody fragment (that costs 300 crystals by the way) has been very elusive. Its like BFS is deliberately making it difficult to get the last piece. Got enough of the old pieces to build a freakin' Taj Mahal. One good thing about racing so much is that I got about 7 or 8 crystals from the spinning wheel since Kairos was announced. Did something stupid - decided to visit AndyPandy to have a look at Kairos, well blow me down!!! thats one magnificent beast. Me wants it. If I don't get the piece through racing soon - I am buying it. BTW, when Silver dragon originally came out it looked terrible. Really low rez with fluffy claws and jagged lines along its body. Sent 2 e-mails to BFS about it. Well, they fixed it. Took it out of the Hybernation cave and it looks much better. Thanks BFS. P.S. That comment about toys thrown out of pram is pure gold. Thanks for posting this combo, FINALLY have a Ghost in the works. And I haven't even started on the quest for fragments yet. UPDATE: started the races. I was reluctant because it wasn't one of my favorite DV things. Two fragments now, not too bad I guess.
Since the announced the change on how they award fragments in the races I have not won a single piece!!! I was getting them fairly regularly before the change though. I have won 6 gems so that is a plus and lots of xp and coins. Haven't had the problem of just winning food like a lot of you seem to. Oh well. Off to race some more for those silly fragments

Well I'm here to say IT IS POSSIBLE to get Kairos without spending a gem! Just got the final piece! Can't wait to not race for a Loooonnnngggg time ha I must say Kairos does look magnificent. Check him out perched in my park when you get a chance! Now I just need that second ghost and I can go back to playing catch up on the dragons I missed.
