finally got my second ghost dragon last night, now i'm gonna start working on Obsidian dragon. Started playing Gizmonauts to kill time too while waiting for DV timers.
Just got my Kairos, after so many races but have had a great run along the way so didn't get disheartened - second opal for display, then two bones (started too late last year to get them) two ghosts, two ash, two obsidian, second sandstorm....... My egg park is beginning to look crowded! All this with two extra habitats too, much happy dancing going on! Good luck to everyone still battling the races, it will happen
Oh GP, you know you are not alone! I have lost count of the number of toys I have thrown out of my pram in the last few weeks! I am so far behind with these dragons I still have 5 empty habitats!!!! Unable to get seasonal, gold, silver, silver Olympus or ironwood!! Wouldn't mind but I breed constantly. Thank goodness the Ash and Obsidian were easy to get and there were minimal fails for the opal otherwise I may just be sitting in a corner sobbing by now managed to get the ghost quite easily, just trying for my 3rd now. And don't even talk to me about the kairos! Have handed that responsibility to my hubby as he's good at racing and I honestly can't stand the frustration of the silly wheel over and over again lol. Aww....thanks Lel0501......kinda makes me feel better that I'm not alone I'm going stir crazy with these races, either get no fragment or one I already have....I just haven't got the patience to sit and play for an hour or more, so looks like it will take quiet a while......I win 99.9% of the races, but it's just sooo boring! I have yet to get Obsidian, but not bothered (yet) LOL. My biggest annoyance is having to go back to my original iPad for now, my 16 day old iPad 3rd gen has been returned for a full refund, now waiting for the 4th gen iPad to arrive in Oz....not a happy Apple girl right now.....anyway, I'm back to major lag, can't visit or gift anyone as it just crashes back to home page, so have to gift my friends from my iPhone 4 (thank goodness I can at least do this) Sending lots of good luck your way....hope hubby comes through for you xox @Jazbo......huge congrats on your Kairos my friend....well done, where did those patience come from? Well done to those of you who have yours and best wishes to those who are still racing and trying for those elusive fragments, we will get there!
Thanks GP! So sorry to hear about your bad luck with your iPad! What was wrong with it? I heard that the newest iPad could get a bit hot? How long til the next one comes out? Questions questions! Anyway, persevere with the racing and fingers crossed you get it soon my friend!
Hey Jaz, nothing wrong with it, Apple have now informed us of the iPad 4th gen (which I would have happily waited for) if they weren't so hush hush secretive about it all. The wifi + cellular is due to be released end of Nov, so hope it will be here in Oz shortly after that, so bit of a wait yet finding it hard going on my old one but hopefully it will be worth it in the end. Been racing again, as soon as I went to spin the wheel app crashed back to home page over and over....tried refreshing DV, no go....so rebooted iPad and this has fixed it for now....raced 20 times, finally got one piece...but now need a break again....just not enjoying the game at the moment Jaz, seemed to have lost my mojo
Head start for races! Don't know whether everyone is aware of this, but if you hit the screen exactly as 'go' appears your dragon gets off to a flying start and you can see the bar much easier for the first few markers. Hope this helps anyone still racing for Kairos
Thanks for the tip, I'll try that. I look forward to not having to race for a while. Those who still haven't unlocked Kairos - use the opportunity to get Bonus spins for extra XP and gems. They are much harder to get during normal spins. Took me a few days to get to level 40 after zooming from 35 to 39 in a couple of days. Regarding obsidian, is fire/mud the best combo? I have been trying it for days with no luck at all. For those who may not know, BFS has a new game - gizmonauts, which is pretty much dragonvale with robots. I recognised some TA friends as well. Tried it for a couple of days but deleted it. It just doest have the same appeal to me even though it has the potential to be just as frustrating as DV.
I got both of mine with Earth/Blazing. Congrats to those who have got Kairos, and good luck to those still racing for Him!
Finally got Obsidian dragon with Lava/Mud (first try) after multiple fails with Fire/Earth and Fire/Mud. Now going for the second one and breeding break after that. Has been a busy month with Opal, Ghost, Bone, Ash, Obsidian and Kairos.
