Well got a 12 hour from firefly + cold in the epic breeding cave, which I assume is a Frostfire. Then I got a 48 hour time in the regular cave from another firefly + cold. Hoping it's a rainbow.
Need more FOOD! This is just a heads up for those of you who haven't started leveling up your dragons past 10 yet. Start stockpiling food now! You can't have too much. The amount of food it takes to level up to a 15 is INSANE! Oh how I wish I had known. All those times I slacked off growing more, thinking I had plenty.... Now trying to save coins to buy the 5th island which I'll never get since I'm spending it all trying to keep up with food.
I dont know yet, but I don't have any of the specials yet, and I didn't buy the sun/moon dragon habitats till after they started breeding, and it would be moon if it werenot rainbow, cause I bred it at 10, in 34 hours I'll come back saying what the egg is

I was doing seaweed x blue fire I think when I got the iceberg got a 48hr breeding pair atm from cold x firefly
You had me worried! So I sped up the 12 hour egg with 4 hours left. Thankfully it's a frostfire! Now to wait and see what the 48 hour breed time is.
Cold news: bitten by frostfire... Darn Alyjens! Thought I had m all covered. Bit of a cold/hot shower, but with a big smile on my face too, for that's what this game is all about: just when you think you're finally gettin somewhere, the near end of the journey turns out to be a mirage. But you still take these long steps to reach the next pond of water. and the next, and the next... Got the feeling BF studios finally got the message that this game is very dependent for its success on renewel, small but nice surprises, a few big challenges and reasons to interact with other players. One thing still bothering me though...why is it not possible to exchange food for gems and/or money? Got tons of food by simply keeping it up and guess I'll just have to wait for the opportunity to get dragons up to level 15. BTW thanks for the compliments. But feel rather silly now not having named my first lava Pompei or sthg like that...can still make my next island a total drama island haha! Greetz and good luck to all out there...!
LOL, I hear ya AJ.....having the same run myself (big surprise, not!) So far Ive tried cold/firefly x 3, cold/scorch x 2, ice/firefly x 2, even sped some up to try again as my EBC is tied up with a 48 hr timer!!!!! Sooo hope it's a second rainbow as its what I've been trying for with back to back breedings straight after I got my Sun baby. Oh and my Frostfire fails have mainly been scorch or firefly with 2 x storms thrown in. I have just done two more, one using a lvl 4 scorch/cold lvl 10...outcome will be another scorch or firefly...at least the fails are mostly short times, for that I am grateful. PS: was wondering if you were collecting icebergs cause you liked them
Hey Archer, you can rename your dragons anytime you want to. Just click the dragon to open it up, click on the name and your keypad should come up, then rename away to your hearts content I think BFS thought they better make plain Jane iceberg easy to get to soften the Frostfire pain"....hehe excuse the pun
Regarding zoom in/out Hi everyone, Has anyone noticed since BFS went and blundered the zoom range, that when you zoom out as far as you can, your visitors dissolve into the Island? Then you zoom in a little and they reappear again.....try it and see if you get bored.....haha it's just like magic
Not that I've noticed, but I haven't grown any treats since latest update. Sneaking way to help you get rid of your coinage faster
I think they did it to stop the game from grinding to a halt. I noticed that with more dragons present scrolling is slow and frame freezes for half-second sometimes when you scroll around. The demand on memory could also be the reason for change in maximum zoom. I thought that it would be acceptable if at maximum zoom the dragons either froze in place or dissappeared as well. Its just easier to disign the islands when you see a bigger picture.

Yep, looks like it.....don't you think its at least a lot nicer than iceberg? Personally not fussed on that plain Jane, got mine in water habitat cause it fades to nothing in the cold one Here's a pic of the adult version. Trying to get this one is becoming another story, the short breeding break was nice while it lasted for me
