Sandstorm WTF moment I upgraded my new sandstorm to level 14. When I closed the window the thing became GIANT. I am not kidding, it was bigger than 2 sun dragons together. It was covering both air habitats I have. I couldn't believe my eyes. I was considering giving it its own habitat. Next time I logged into the game the sandstorm shrunk to more ... reasonable proportions. I wish I had taken the picture. I am going to upgrade my second sand to lvl 14 and see what happens. If it "explodes" again, I'll post the picture. Opposite happens to quakes. When I upgrade them, they actually shrink in size. Until the next login, that is. 14 must be some magic level.
Are people forcing you to play? Your telling me, that because you have trouble getting rare dragons....Backflip Studios should slow down their (already slow) dragon releases? If your getting so worked up, then perhaps its time for another game. If the rare dragons were easy to get then they wouldnt be special, and all we would have is a game where everyone has every dragon within a day.....boring Bring on more rare dragons Backflip!
A bit hostile, isn't it? Well, it is one thing to have a challenge, it is another to spend weeks trying with no result. The game is certainly skewed towards consumable IAPs, no doubt about that. If you knew how long it took some members here to get sandstorm or blue fire (not even mentioning sun, moon or rainbow) you would understand where the frustration comes from. I also feel that it is ok for forum members to vent their frustration, relief, joy, etc as it is part of this game's experience.
GRAHHHHHHH! >:/ I just blew 240 gems that I had saved up on the frost fire dragon, I continuously did cold+firefly to no avail. When I was at 40 gems, I got 2 moon dragons which was a nice surprise. Can anyone please tell me a good combo, before I gouge out my eyeballs? Lol
Try scorch/cold. I had no luck with ff/cold either. Its also a good idea to do it in regular cave, as the "epic" cave may think that fog dragons are a better result than frost. good luck.
@ bone part. I certainly understand your frustration! I wound up with two moons and very few gems left to open up my breeding caves trying for the frost fire. I was finally successful however it was frustrating. Good luck to you!
@rattler379. Arche65 is correct, I tried for what seemed like eons attempting my second rainbow and it was actually two level four dragons that produced my long awaited second rainbow. Best luck to you!

Huh? Where did I say that BFS should slow down their dragons releases???? Did I not say I don't think dragons should be easy to get all the time as that would be boring? Please don't take my comments out of context as this post was just my own opinion based on my own experiences and to answer your question, no, people are not forcing me to play, but thanks for asking anyway. Good luck with your continued rare dragon breeding success and may I suggest you email BFS and ask them to bring on more rare dragons, as it appears from reading your previous posts that you got all your dragons in a decent time frame
Haha, think I am now partial to moon breeding also, current have two and one egg that's ready to hatch....it's my fav dragon but hope I don't get another one, didn't think I would be saying that either. Another forum member Lao-shu got Frostfire with ice/firefly. I have tried that one twice so far, but mainly concentrated on cold/firefly or cold/scorch....I just got another firefly...yay, that will teach me for not being attentive and selling the wrong dragon, gotta remember to watch the eggs that are exactly the same (firefly/scorch), have had a lot of new scorches to breed from but no new cold dragons, so think I may get a new cold and breed that with my new firefly....think I also tried snow/scorch too Good luck and let us know when it happens Here's the pic I posted earlier

Wow, isn't that amazing...we tend to focus on levelling them up thinking this will be more successful.... Do you recall what you used at all....I am really keen to give this a go, have to see what littlies I have to work with or keep little from failed breeds

I just bread bluefire and crystal, got my first 48hour turned out to be Sun although i was trying for rainbow because apparently bf and crystal is a possible combination! problem is it makes mountain dragons too often which are a 14 hour pain in the ass for 50k,gems or no gems.
Crystal has 24hr breedng time lol. And yes bluefire+crystal would give u moon,sun, or rainbow. Just need to have lots of patience it took me 3month for em all lol
Come and visit!! I kind of like him. Better than the ugly sea cow that's a dime a dozen....BF was playing some games with us it seems here. Throw us an easy dragon and drive us nuts with a hidden one. In terms of your voicing your opinion earlier I'm totally with you! How many freaking weaks did I try for the freaking sun? Or the bluey? I'm glad some people come by the dragons easily but nobody should bash those of us that have ripped our hair out over them and gotten extremely frustrated over the randomness. Playing the game now going on almost 6 months it's an up and down roller coaster. Some of us get very lucky and some don't. That's what this forum is for. I'm sure I'll be bitching about something again eventually.
