Please know it wasn't to score gems....I just like visiting other Islands and there's always a party on them ( referring to party hats) The dragonsai gem tree has been a huge help for me and I know you will say the same thing in a day or two....so nice to be able to cross names off my IOU list faster now - yay, it was worth saving those precious gems to get it. You may have a valid point in another post about BFS maybe switching around the levels to much lower for breeding success....or it's just the randomness of the game....definitely worth a try and I wouldn't put it past them especially when they introduced the shrines which of course encourages us to level up our dragons to activate these.....hmm...this part has just dawned on me, maybe we need to have some lvl 4s to breed with also??? Not laughing at your Frostfire challenge, you're not alone there, but gotta say you cracked me up with your eyeball gouging......too funny but hope they are both still intact otherwise you won't be able to read the forum anymore LOL Just the different stages we go through and comment on Hissy fits,rants, hair pulling, threatening to throw in the towel Now you are upping the anty with the serious stuff..eye gouging... eek what is dragonvale reducing us all to... Hang in there Bonepart, hope you get the little rascal soon, in the meantime, hope your GC friends take pity on you and send you some gems, but use them sparingly and wisely Not sure what levels your drags were on, but have you tried a couple of level fours to breed with? I haven't yet as I don't have a young cold dragon......will have to work on that though, definitely worth a go
i had trouble getting a frostfire with my sole lvl15 cold dragon. i then decided to just get another cold, and lvl up to 10. i got frostfire at first try with lvl10 cold and lvl10 firefly. not sure if using dragons above lvl10 helps with getting the rarer dragons. just decided to get a new blazing cos i only have one at lvl15.
Haha! My fault! Yin Yang still haunting you then? Methinks I will do the same for frostfire (That took a while just to type frostfire! Damn autocorrect) as I did for blue fire: save up a hundred gems! Started at 35....... DAMMIT! Spent them all on my EBI! Ah well, I'm already at 41 with about 4-6 coming in each day! And speaking of frostfire dragons, POSSIBLE LAWSUIT ALERT!!! I was thinking about Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion while playing dragon ale, and remembered that Frostfire Glade is a location in Oblivion! And thinking about Bethesda suing over possibility of scrolls in Minecraft, if they see this........... (Dramatic background music) the net update may be delayed! (shock and horror!) Orange isn't really my colour anyway and in this country men usually don't wear dresses. Anyway, I know you are not out to get cheap gems; yer too honestly involved in this game so I had no trouble adding you. Mind you, I am getting a little bit careful with GCfriends, cause there are some that receive but never return. Obviously they will soon be removed and I wish them a zillion wasted gems getting nothing but dragons for their habitat of shame......! Aaahhhh.....the force is strong with this one.....

I was able to breed the Panlong Dragon with level nine mud, and level ten blazing in the regular breeding cave. For some reason I do not have much luck in EBC. It took about five tries!
@ girlpower, have you had any luck breeding the lower level dragons yet? I think your right about the game.....with the shrines and trying to level up, it makes sense.
Oh, by the way when you get the Panlong dragon you will want to put it in the large earth habitat. This habitat has a higher dragon cash max @ 75k
