I never realised the devs of draw race also made trials hd. I love both of them. Draw Race was always one of my favourite multiplayer games. Thers something awesome about screaming at a red car to turn better with your friends. This is looking sweet but still maintianing what makes draw race so good.
Thanks for the kind comments guys. Yes, we've been showing this at E3 in the Chillingo booth and the response is very positive. New trailer with gameplay is in the works.
If you must do a non-universal set of apps, could you please make the iPad one universal? That way, the more expensive app gets you both games (essentially). Games like World of Goo did that, and I think it's a fantastic way to price them. Although, it does still separate leaderboards. Universal only is the way to go if you can.
Wow, looks fantastic. I still play the first one but I am amazed with how much better this one looks.
Wow this looks way more polished and higher quality than the first one! Plus, the turbo boosts puts in a little more of a strategic factor into the game. I absolutely loved the first one and played it for awhile.
hi all, thought I'd share some DrawRace 2 coverage with you from E3: Gamepro It's an easy game to understand, but difficult to master. TouchGen New to DrawRace 2 is the ability to control the power of your car mid race with the addition of a turbo button. This adds a little more strategy to races and something to occupy you instead of idly standing aside as your cars race IGN Multiple players can play on the same system, with up to four on the iPad. Draw Race 2 simple to understand, and unsurprisingly addictive given its pedigree. Touch Arcade I'd be lying if I said I wasn't excited for this game. I liked the original a lot, and the sequel adds cool 3D traffics, more tracks, and tons more goodies.
Was very excited about this possibily releasing today, amongst the usual raft of Thursday content, seeing as the release date on the official website still reads June 2011 Ah well!
Sorry about that! Website has been updated, we are a small company though and the main web developer is knee-deep in Trials Evolution programming.
I'm never going to get over the fact Trials isn't coming to PS3. It's almost as though RedLynx doesn't want more people paying for/playing/enjoying their games... Nevertheless! DrawRace 2 looks awesome and they're definitely getting my money for that.
@Jenkki I love this. So many Finnish developers Rovio, Remedy, Mountainsheep, Soosiz dev etc. Is RedLynx finnish or are you just working from them from Finland? DrawŔace original was fun, but was lacking a lot in graphics compared to this beauty! Pure jenkki
@MidianGTX well I would never say never, but it's true we just announced Evo for XBLA. @LOLVai, yes RedLynx is very Finnish, though a couple of us here are from the US or UK. In the latest issue of EDGE actually there is a big write-up of the Finnish gaming industry, with interesting roundtable discussion with the CEOs of Remedy, Rovio, etc. talking about how this came to be. It should be on their website eventually too.
