It's not FIFA 12 so-to-say, just a little addition that will be pretty awesome for guys with an iPad 2 and a few iPhones/iPod touches. It's either FIFA 12 or FIFA 11 Prototype.

I am very very looking forward to this game. Now, I hope to see manager mode/ be a pro mode included in FIFA 12. I want the gameplay to be the same but more modes/additions such as the ability to save our replays, and louder crowds would be awesome!

It doesnt look like its out tomorrow - I wish it were!!! Purely when Touchgen ge their hands on the game. Probably a beta.

Any idea on when a realistic date will be? Prior to the console versions (normally end Sept/early Oct)?

I'll second this. Also higher res graphics for the Iphone 4, Ipad and Ipad 2. Fifa 11 was good but both Iphone 4 and the Ipads are capable of more detailed models.

Why does everyone assume the bigger the size the better the game?

Size doesn't have much to do with how great a game is.

In the general case of an unproven developer/title, certainly not, but if you're a fan of a series, you have to have some faith that they aren't going to use the extra file size unless they think it adds something.

    ummm?

well it looks like there isnt really much difference... fifa 11 was too good and lagged on ipod. i hope that fifa 12 will have online multiplayer/// i think that they didnt update fifa 11 with online multiplayer because of this.

    Yep some good points there

Just like First Touch Soccer, Fifa 11 had the same issues that you played a season and wouldnt get promoted, was basically 'game over'.

Played a ton of games in the Championship, my team finished first, was expecting it to be harder in the Premiership but nope, thats it. Start again.

On the Amiga years back was a game called Player Manager, which was basically Kick Off but with management tactics. Wish it could be like that, form your own squad, buy/sell players, get promoted and play games etc.

If its a case of play one season at a time in Fifa 12 then start again, boring. Shame.

I really don't care that much for this 'amazing' new control system. It doesn't give me the 'wow' factor - I was expecting something like this deep down, especially after playing Chopper 2.

I hope EA don't concentrate entirley on this. I read on PocketGamer that the audio has improved, which is all well and good, but I need some more information on gameplay improvements. Better animations? Better shooting styles?

    Don't leave us hangin' EA.

Ok, according to Gamescome's hands on, FIFA 12 will have the following

    1) manager mode (hallelujah):)
    2) rich commentary
    3) improved graphics ( noticeable on iPad 2)
    4) the ability to save awesome goals and replay/upload them on YouTube
    5) iPhone/iPod touch as a controller ( which I am not that excited)
I have changed my mind and Its an instant buy for me. The addition of online multiplayer and a lively crowd, would even make FIFA 12 the king of footie:)

FTS already had savings of goals, but Manager mode and itouch controller is awesome, hoping it would be less than 500mb for me to get xD
