i know, it's really quite annoying, but then again, isn't it just what happens? i mean, we all have very different thoughts and opinions. however, we should be talking about the fact edgy has been removed from the appstore.
Thanks for being the first one to realise that my last 2 posts have been deliberate and meant to involve lots of hypocrisy! Just didn't expect it to trascend into what it has done. EDGE, EDGE MY MOBIGAME and EDGY are all great games.
Oh for christ's sake, why don't we get this back on topic now. Has there been any news as to why Edgy was removed? I'm sure all of us are assuming that it's just Langdell being an asshole again, but I'd like to know for sure. Reading about his 'company' on Wikipedia, he just threatens litigation against any company using the term 'edge' in a game, and tries to trademark terms that game companies may use, usually with the word 'edge' in them, before the other company. What can be done to get him to knock it off? There's gotta be something... Anyone wanna TOFTT and set fire to his office?
UPDATE: edge lite also removed from the app store i expect they are waiting for EA's lawsuit to be finished...according to a tweet by mobigame "no update until EA win in the US/UK, and then maybe EDGE 2. We are working on the new games here, you will love them "
I personally think this is partly Mobigame's fault (for Edgy being banned) because they announced that they would change it to both Tim Langdell and the world before they copyrighted it/ released it.
Hehehe! Personally I find the hatred of people using the term "gay" silly. Using "gay" to mean homosexual is already re-defining a re-defined slang word, so those people really have no room to talk about people re-defining it yet again. Your post was pretty great as far as jokingly hypocritical posts go. As an English minor, I find wry humor like that quite entertaining, particularly on forums.
Edge should go on sale for $0.99 All politics aside, don't you think that the next time edge comes back it should go on sale for $0.99 Don't get me wrong, I think it is great that mobigame is not giving up, but why should people have to pay so much money for a game that keeps disapearing.
yeah I don't like this Langdell guy but Mobigame needs to understand its not the customer's responsibilty or obligation to pay a high price again because of any legal issues/expenses they want to be compensated for. I'm not buying into this notion of "buy again to support" b.s. I already paid full for the game once and I'm not paying again for a new name.
Your misunderstanding, you don't have to buy the new version, the old version will probably be back upwith the new update after they win the lawsuit
EDGE 2? Now that is worth dishing out money for. I'll support them 100% if it's in exchange for a new game
