terrible game! wow just played this... what a crappy game with (what) for graphics just deleted it. would have more fun being locked in a room, & rolling bowling balls at people trying to pickup crackers.
This is the kind of stuff I was hoping for when I was trying to populate my friends list. Peeps I see near daily make for much better gaming experiences when it comes to leaderboards. The game also is hard to get into but it just keeps ramping up. I really love this little game. Thanks for those that created the awareness. Scores? Score #8 Time #41 Eeks #3 Smashes #7 Gold #10 Not bad at all overall for an hour or so total.
Wow, what a terrible attitude to have towards a game that you didn't pay for. Where's the constructive criticism? But then again, for some reason without having played it, you don't think King of Dragon Pass is worth its price either, so I guess it'll really be difficult for anyone to take anything you say seriously. Not that I think someone like you would ever pay a whopping $10 on any game, seeing as though you seem to hang out almost exclusively in this price drop thread. Sounds to me as if EEK! gave you an ass whipping, and your butt was still stinging when you posted here. Amirite?
don't be a cry baby about it KODP just didn't seem worth it for my taste with reviews and such. this game just isn't fun, my opinion. didn't need to give any constructive criticism because there's nothing they can do with this. sorry i don't care enough to check where you hang out
KODP has pretty much excellent reviews across the board, which more or less confirms that you can't be taken seriously. That doesn't automatically mean that everyone should like the game, that'd be silly. But for you to say that it's not worth its price is madness, having not played it. Or maybe that's your opinion on all games that cost more than a buck. Or maybe your taste in games are as bad as your skills, who knows? Not sure there's a cure for bad taste, but at least there are a lot of freebies in here for you to improve your gaming skills with.
I remember that I was interested in this when it was released because the screenshots looked so unique. I liked the spelled out word-objects. Such a novel idea. I know that I didn't buy it because it was iPad 2 and up, but I am surprised to see that it works perfectly fine on my 3GS now. At least I think it does. I wouldn't know for sure because man this game is hard! On the one hand, it's super frustrating. On the other, I think I kind of like it. In other highscore games I often do just fine for a while, and then I die. This skips the "doing fine for a while" part, which makes for much faster gameplay. Still, even after understanding the multipliers, I have no idea how people get these high scores. I'll be the sucky person on the leaderboard so that you guys can feel even better about yourselves Mrbiggles: I also have that sometimes, that I try a game that most people seem to like, and I don't get it at all. Different strokes. I don't understand why you would feel the need to voice your opinion in the thread so harshly. I think the words you wrote should be reserved for the crappiest of crappy shovelware games, not for labours of love like this one, no matter if you personally like the gameplay or not.
"Wow what a crappy game." "This game isn't really my thing." There's a pretty fundamental difference between the above two statements.
understandable. i was just really shocked at 1st play "what is this crap" and wondered what anyone would see in this gameplay or word graphics of users that played 1,000's of games before this. couldn't have hit the delete button any faster. the social leaderboard must be a big thing i guess! sorry just not a social twitter/facebook fan. some people like you prefer advanced gameplay of pong, as you can show your mad brain power skills to us all. i prefer a more skilled intellectual thinking games or at least a unique action game. when you read reviews of KODP about the odd gameplay curve and random ways to die often etc...keeps me on the boarder for a better price of $3 to try it. Now if there was a Light version then I would be able to tell for myself what this gameplay is all about, weather its worth $5-$7. I like my money and don't want to be that person, short of money or in dept (mabe) like yourself.
@mrbiggles: you can't say that this is a crappy game. Everyone on here is enjoying it. It would be okay if you say that it's just not your type of game.
I'm not on twitter or facebook, but I really have been enjoying this game immensely. It's pretty brutal at first but a few achievements later and then focusing on them and pow... 8th in the world on score & 5th on eeks (getting close to an explosion or flying object). Not everyone likes a challenge. No harm in not liking a game that many others do. There are many games that people consider some of the best of all time that I got bored with half way through and never finished.
Thanks for the compliment. Well I checked out your post history to try and get a sense of the games that you like, but seeing as though every single post is either codes, or sales, or codes or more sales, I gave that up pretty quickly. You'd pay $3 for a game? Pull the other one, it's got bells on it. I gathered that.
For those wondering about the multiplier, it seems that very gild dot increases it by one. The catch is that it goes down slowly all the time. So, those who can not only avoid objects, but get to the collisions at just the right time will achieve the highest score. Lots of strategy here and skill here, and love the art style. Would have paid for this easy.
