Minus the coins and stuff, I'm actually quite enjoying this game. Kind of relaxing, at the same time watching the world build and crumble around me.
After playing this a bunch last night I have to say, I wish that there was one more section of road visible in the distance and they kept one more section of road towards the bottom left that's safe. Add to it, move the speedometer in the top right or something and make it bigger. Beyond that, I love how the levels change from area to area. I think I need to see 7 more before I get the extreme map option for the first world. Yes the game is MEGA grind heavy. Even more so than most Chillingo games I've enjoyed in the past. The only car I'd probably be interested in upgrading to is the race car with the 2x coin attachment... but even that isn't really worth 14,000 coins or whatever it costs. I think I'll play through for some of the achievements and then retire this game. I can't see having the same kind of fun with in the long run like I did The Last Driver, Madcoaster, or more recently Ski Safari unless something happens during the next few times I play it that changes my mind.
I really love the artwork and style of this release. isometric equals cool! like Edge and royksopp's "remind me". I do feel however that "forever drive", a game with similar concept, is a lot more fun to play. Still, great game
Well it's OK for a free game but I can't get past the feeling that it should have been released on a new iPad advent as it feels more like a tech demo than anything else. I think it will get boring quickly. More likely deleted when RS2 comes out tomorrow. No competition I think. But yeah it IS an ok game.
I'll check this out. Seems cool. I like the art style. ... meh, the game is a cool idea. But seems too cheap, gameplay-wise. Too many cars/obstacles that slow you down and then you can't get a boost pad to get to go fast enough.
Cool idea but gets difficult too quickly. Guess I will keep it for a while then get rid of it when I'm completely bored with it.
