How does apple allow for such ridiculous pricing? And are there really people out there that say "Well, it was $449.99 and now I can get for only 99 cents...it must be a bargain"?

Let me guess, you changed the price because Apple said they'd kick you out of the store if you didn't?

Oh, and you're aware these photographs aren't public domain? Sure, their use on websites is generally fair use (freedom of speech, satire, etc) but selling them is a different matter altogether. Good luck making a case as to why you're charging people anything (let alone $450) for access to other people's copyrighted images.

The real problem with this app is that it would have been a pain in the neck to purchase. Do you have any idea how many giftcards one would have to buy in order to have bought it at original price? :p

  8. Better yet, failblog.com has those and more. Free.

They put it at $450, and then they bought it many times, so it shoots up to the top of the Top Grossing Chart

Wow, I didn't even think of that. Thats pretty funny but Apple really should have something in place to stop such a thing from happening.
