Who will be the winner of EURO 2016? My vote goes to Germany, But I think as a host France has good chance too.
Northern Ireland Yeeeooooooooo According to the media here their actually ranked 25th in the world at the minute, probably won't last but I kinda hope they do well.
Their recent performance is not so good.If they want to win this EURO they have to far better than their recent performance.
It's a bit of a dream tournament on paper, this one. I remember being little and thinking how awesome the idea of having so many home nations (British born, Irish family) competing. Shame Scotland didn't make it or it'd feel like a full house. Could do with a few more goals across the board, mind you. Anyone ready to stick their neck out and predict a winner? I can't see past Spain boring every other team into submission, the way it's going :-/
I know they haven't been their best yet but I still think the hosts France will win watch our for Payet Wish Ireland would win but that's a long shot for sure
I also reckon France will do it. They won at home in 84 and 98 and, let's face it, there's hardly a better first 11 or even squad in the tournament. With my mongrel parentage, I'm supporting Sweden, Ireland and England. Don't think the first two will trouble the later stages, sadly, but I've not given up on England. I know, I know, we've been hurt before...
Looking a lot more difficult after this afternoon :-( At least we've got a small history of beating Italy at major tournaments
