SPAM!!!! You posted just to get that 500th post. Go do that in the Games section. It was the 3rd down, and you bump it? That makes no sense. And you claim that you could be a mod. Bull ****ing ****
I'm not European, but I think I know what you're talking about withthe song contest. I may be wrong, but didn't Magnus Carlsson enter years ago and sing Live Forever? Or is that something else? I dunno.
Well I didn't watch it all- only the last half. For years the UK hasn't come anywhere near the top because of all the political voting. This is the reason our presenter left the show last year after decades of doing it. However, I think the new voting system helped this year- we actually came 5th place! Our best score in a decade. Mind you, I must be honest, I wasn't a fan of our own tune. Ballads bore the pants off me.
I watched it and enjoyed graham nortons commentary. Some wasnt too nice though such as (sorry to any icelandic people) "The whole island pitched in to afford this satellite uplink". Ireland did sucky as always although we still hold the most wins YAY!!!
I didn't see it this time round. When did good ol' Terry Wogan quit? I can't imagine ESC without Terry!!!! He had a way with words. He could be cheeky without going overboard. Sounds like Norton isn't quite in his league...
Hated Norton. I thought our song was terrible, absolutely terrible... It was just so stuck up (aside from being a generally poor 'song') Didn't deserve 5th, anyway. I also thought both Iceland and Azerbaijan had better songs than Norway
