2009 albums: Kasabian Nine Black Alps Newly Discovered: Pretty Much any well known rap, as I used to be one of those people who branded all rap as rubbish, but I actually like it now, I'm just trying to find more not made by the uber famous rappers (2Pac, Biiggy Smalls, Coolio etc...) Cage the Elephant (saw them live) Arcade Fire (all their stuff) quite a few others, that's all that comes to mind though
my favourites of this year that spring to mind are: tim law = dark design arrow down hill = promise happy ending poisonblack = a dead heavy day cradle of filth = godspeed on the devils thunder coheed and cambria = no world for tomorrow warrel dane = praises to the war machine juliette lewis = terra incognita (yeh i know some are a year or two old but heard them for the first time this year!!!) oh and bass players over guitarists anyday
Placebo - Battle For The Sun Great abum, I think the best of whole Placebo's discography. Strong, meaningful lyrics, great guitar sound and more make this album unique!

Hmmm.... Maybe Shaday (1988, Ofra Haza) or Desert Wind (1989, Ofra Haza) or Kirya (1992, Ofra Haza) or Ofra Haza the album. Also Paid in Full (Erik B. & Rakim, 1987) Pump up the Volume/The First Time I See She Dance (MARRS 1988) True Blue (1986, Madonna) I also am listening to Belinda Carlisle, Miss Kittin, Big L, Biggie, 2pac, Cascada, Ofra Haza, Rakim, Madonna, Sade, Blondie, Nas, Katy Perry (yeah, xD), and September, and La Roux.
No idea which would be my favourite, but the highlight of this year for me are: - Stratovarius: Polaris - Revolution Renaissance: Age of Aquarius - Sonata Arctica: The Days of Grays - Cain's Offering: Gather the Faithful - Epica: Design Your Universe
There hasn't been good music in years. Everything is over-auto-tuned and over-synthesized , I'd hardly call any of it music.
There's always good music. It's just harder to find these days. And anything auto-tuned is over-auto-tuned.
Yeah okay, I disagree. But whatever your opinion On topic: I'm listening to Cursive's new CD, that might make the cut. Who knows...
Well, since everyone's posting covers of their favorite albums and my last post here was made on my iPod, here's the covers: Ok, forget it it came out all weird. Waking the Fallen and Colors are the best of all time, and The Great Misdirect and Constellations are of this year.
