I hope you like the lake. We spent a lot of time making the water look realistic. Not easy to do on a mobile device.
The game will go on sale for $2.99 when it's released but it will retail for $4.99. Please email [email protected] to be considered for beta testing. Here are two new screen shots.
Flight Unlimited is in the final week of testing. We'll be giving out free download codes upon release. If you'd like to be considered you must answer the following question. Two planes are flying off the coast of South America. They are alongside each other, parallel, at the same speed and altitude. The left plane drops a five pound steel ball and simultaneously, the right plane drops a five pound sack of feathers. Which object will hit the ground first? Here are the latest screens.
Although they weight the same, the aerodynamics of the steel ball will generate less drag than the five pound stack of feathers so it would hit the ground first, more noticeable when dropped at higher attitudes.
Spoiler It depends on the shape. Since they are both the same weight, whichever one has less surface area (perpendicular to the direction of motion) will experience less drag force and will hit the ground first. Physics ftw
Okay, they could hit the water so none of them would hit the "ground". BUT there could be a small island underneath them so they would both hit that.
We have a winner...the correct answer was "water". A new question will be posted soon. Here's a new screen as well.
We need your help picking our screen shots for the application page in iTunes. Which screen do you like the best? (1,2, or 3) Thanks!
Pic number 5 It's good for the scale but the shadow lets it down, obviously it's taking off from a building the shadow is dynamic
Ah what? lol! I'm just posting random pics that I've taken from beta that's all I'm particularily fond of 'pic 5' because I actually stopped at the building's edge. Here's some more pics that I like (guess we can call 'em 6 and 7? ):
Well I'm guessing this is wrong but since the last two answers were wrong. Spoiler I say neither because they are flying over the ocean, thus they'll hit the water and no the ground. EDIT: Oh whoops didn't see it was answered already. Lol.
