thats why modern warfare 2 will be so awesome. there was very little negative feedback, and they've had time to build up on that and add MAJOR improvements... modern warfare 2 will definitely own halo 3 odst will be ok, but it just seems like alot of immature children play the game... thats one of the main reason why i dont really play halo or xbox live as much
ROFL, every PC gamer knows that crysis the the most demanding PC game in history my 9800 GT can barely handle it when everything is set at high
ehhh.... usually i find myself running and spraying in halo and i usually get the most kills... then it takes forever to kill somebody because of the damn shields.... usually in CoD, your taking cover and using real military strategies
I have 8500 GT and it dies. I know its crazy demanding i thought id at least be able to run it at medium though
Yes, but I think that Halo, in general, is simply more fun than CoD. Also, Halo has a wide range of maps, from large, open areas, to smaller, more hectic battles. No two games are the same. Please don't fall under the impression that I don't enjoy CoD, on the contrary, it was one of the most cinematic games I've ever played. But when I want to play online, I reach for Halo first.
Halo 1 and 2 were awesome, but I didn't like 3 at all. The only CoD game I like was 4. Who cares though, Team Fortress 2 owns them both!
COD is great, and I though Battlefield 2042 or whatever it's called was pretty awesome also. I'm not a big FPS guru like some of you, but COD and Battlefield were solid first-person shooters in my honest opinion. Halo is just filled with nerds from all over the world to be any fun on multiplayer.
no u I'm not sure how can you can think CoD doesn't have these if you say you like CoD4 as much as you do. I'm not trying to start a war, and people are entitled to like what they like, but everything you've listed that Halo has. CoD has them as well. The only difference is that CoD doesn't have aliens, the main reason I like it more.
i guess 8 years of playing halo is enough for me well ive also been playing call of duty for years, but yeah....... i dont really like CoD WaW, except for the nazi zombie mode. i heard there's gonna be a survival like mode like that in modern warfare 2
Maybe they play it on pc. Dun Dun Duuunnnnn!!!!! Anyways, i prefer COD, TF2 is great too though. One of my favorite class based shooters, but i wish theyd update it with the pc updates.
Does CoD 4 have vehicles? Nope. Map editor? Nada. CoD 4's single player was da bomb, multiplayer... not so much. IMHO.

Halo is an overhyped, bad copy of UT (regarding the mechanics and gameplay). And Cortana is one of the most annoying characters i have ever seen in a video game.
Personally I loved COD4's multiplayer. Lots of game modes (not as many as Halo but anyways) and they were ALL fun. halo is filled with a bunch of BS ones IMO. Also, I'm not a fan of the Halo gameplay. i mean, two whacks with a gun = death even with an energy shield or whatever but it takes a whole freakin clip with an assault rifle to kill someone. I would take COD over Halo ANY DAY but I do think halo is pretty fun BTW stnsn: goldeneye 007 on N64 is my favorite FPS ever short of COD 4 and probably COD MW. It was just so much fun, how awesome would an xbox port of that w/ multiplayer be?
it doesn't matter if CoD has those things. there are PLENTY of games with map editors and vehicles. its not something brand new. TimeSplitters 1 (released in 2000) was one of the very firsts with the combination of those two.
