Damn, that's a shame. That guy has had a long and illustrious (heh) career and his artwork was some of the best around. I'd put him on a similar level as Boris Vallejo, though perhaps with a little more commercial bend about his work and not so many boobies. He'll surely be missed in the fantasy art world.
