yep pretty much...many past posts upon startup. once it went downhill, nothing until now. prefer GE overall, no worry no grinding ;) no hoping for, no stale overpriced static apps.

I'm updating to an iPhone 5 this week (possibly as early as today). Which services, if any, allow me to transfer points? I need one more download to cash out $10 at FMA so I should be fine with that service. But I have about 9,000 points on AC and around 50,000 on FAS. Will they transfer over or do I have to use them before upgrading?

None (that requires you to install certificate), but I think it'll work with FreeAppParty.

So do I have to redeem all my points and start over?

Sadly yes!:( but what's the hurry? there's nothing worth buying with 50,000 credits and it's hard to make points in FAS these days!

If you're keeping your old device you can do everything twice (one on each device) so it's possible to get double the prizes too if that makes you feel any better.

I don't read every post that comes through and only come back here every so often. So I didn't see someone was struggling with it until now. Plus, I didn't think it would be appropriate to send someone the phone number to the head honcho at FreeAppSlots.

Thanks guys. I'm giving my iPhone 4 to my wife as soon as I get my 5 (she broke hers and had no insurance). I don't expect to use hers to get extra points but I'll keep it in mind just in case. I guess I'll cash out at FAS I may be stuck getting Table Top Racing and/or Banana Kong. Are they any good?

Also, I know this is off topic, but I'm probably going to lose the progress on almost all of my games right?

You can keep your progress if you backup to the cloud and the computer and you will get your progress back.

killerkat68's right. If you do an iTunes backup or iCloud backup while the apps are still on your device then the save data carries over when you do a restore. Once you delete them from your phone the save data is gone.

Awesome. I thought that most games didn't offer any kind of icloud support but I guess I was wrong. Now I just have to figure out what to do with my points.

I think you will get to keep the data for some of the games you delete. When I restored and synced, I downloaded a couple of games that I had previously deleted on my old device, and the saved data was still there for a couple of them. I wouldn't risk it though as I don't think this works for every game.

Isn't there a thread on TA where members can trade codes (i.e. Amazon codes for iTunes codes)?

The iCloud backup is like the iTunes backup where it just backs up everything on your device. It isn't the same as iCloud sync where it will sync the data between devices.
