Holy crap that's crazy far sighted. Well hopefully that guide helps. I would assume any game with asynchronous play would be easier on your eyes due to shorted play sessions. This is killer for that once you get the hang of it
The sad part is that at age 20 I was around 20/50-60...which I thought was bad at the time. Now I can barely shave without wearing glasses. I can use an ipad longer, because I see fine near, not far; BUT, because of my vision I think, it seriously zones me out. E-book readers don't, though. And it's VERY hard to look at a PC monitor for any length of time, because I need distance glasses for something not quite in the distance. And so I get annoyed when I hear "everything is digital now" Occasionally I will write nearly nonsensical posts...when I do, you can assume my brain is partly melted.
I might have meant to say near-sighted; I can see near, not far. i always mix that up. Though for me, near is probably less than a foot away. :sigh: I suppose I'll probably be blind within a decade.
So nobody knows if posting on youtube is disabled in the ipad-version? Does anybody with the pc-version mind to tell us where it "should" be? Pedroapan
Have there been any breakthroughs in sight repair recently? I'm probably naive but I though there had been. Is an Orculus Rift behind the retina possible?
Yes - but each turn is played simultaneously. Yes - so far I've only seen 1-on-1 matches... Yes - I'd say it has a learning curve, but it's a very short one. Once you understand the game mechanics, it's easy to pick up That's a personal question because what's worth to you may be worthless to me. So I can only answer for my own sake: Yes, it's totally worth it for me!
Sorry to hear about you vision troubles. Not sure it will help, but, I had a sister-in-law who was loosing her vision. She was told she would be blind in 6 months. She changed her diet and took supplements. Several months later, her condition had cleared. Sorry, cant recall the condition name. I also have a brother who suffered eye damage when young and has horrendous vision in one eye due to a collapsed cornea. He went to several specialists, and, after several months, one doctor finally managed to fit him with a contact lens that worked. His only other option was a cornea replacement which required a donar. Anyways, good luck.
Wow! This game is great! It took about twenty minutes or so to get used to the simpler aspects of the game, so I've barley scratched the surface, but so far, it seems like the deepest strategy game on iOS (because it is a port). Amazing game that I feel was well worth the purchase.
(Praising criticism: ) They should rename this game to "Tactical Nightmare", cause that sums up what i feel and mumble to myself while planning every round. Your mind goes on f***ing overload about all the possible outcomes that may strike at you and that you must take into consideration. "What if that enemy unit moves over there? But what if he moves over there instead? Or there? ... What if he doesn't move at all?!?"
Dang it! I cannot wait for Frozen Synapse: Red! Is it out for the PC yet, and if so, is the co-op awesome?
Haha, I don't really follow any PC games. I didn't even know anything about this game until it came out here...
