OK... top of thread is updated with teaser screenshots! A couple of notes: --> There is a thumb control in the bottom left corner that will fade to 0% opacity once you lock your thumb on to get it out of the way, the bottom right of the screen is the fire button (temporary image). --> There will be a shield/lifeforce bar and score at the top right of the screen. --> We are working on the best radar implementation, maybe atop the center of the turret or a strip at the top of the screen. --> We are only showing one of several cannon types here (dual barrel machine gun turret) Let me know what other questions you have and Ill do my best to answer Matt

How does this compare to heavy gunner 3d? Also any survival levels and leaderboards? Is that alien about to melée you?
--> Heavy Gunner is dual stick (I believe) and requires tilt to change your view. On G.O.M.P. one thumbstick will control your turret and a fire button to unload. The bots will have lots of animation and personality. --> Yes... survival... Yes... leaderboards --> Yes, he's pissed because we just unloaded on him. Might be time to switch to grenades and put him back in his place MJ
Depending on the level and type of enemy they will patrol, rush, fly(jetpack). Stupid bots will only attack when you hit them first, others will rush you immediately when they spawn. While you cant move your turret from place to place, you have free 360 rotation and the ability to pan up to a large degree to take out alien ships. MJ
I personally find the control of heavy gunner difficult (I like thumbsticks to move the camera instead of tilt)... the turret is controlled as one entity instead of two directional guns. This game will focus on interactions and humor with the enemies as well. MJ
Can you change turrents while in battle will there be like a shoot this to regain health lastly will there be awesome alien grunts
--> yes you can change turrets in battle --> still play balancing to see if shields that regenerate are enough or we need health packs also. Your thoughts? --> funny grunts and one-liners are mandatory
