Not the most exciting finale. It covered way too many events for one episode. Can't believe we have to wait a year for Season 3 though. Might actually get start reading the books, lol. The events in Qarth were pretty funny. Shit's about to go down at the Wall. Good thing Suits starts again in 2 weeks.
I recently got into this too and stayed up until 6am two nights in a row watching them. Then my girlfriend said that she wanted to watch the last few episodes together. >_<
They get 10 hrs this season and the show doesn't move anywhere. At least not the first 5 hrs I've seen. It's Falcon Crest with midgets. Hope it does pick up the pace the last 5 eps.
do you mean physically moving or metaphorically?? Because the story moves plenty if you ask me this season. Some characters didnt have much but thats because they didnt have much in the books. While others got plenty of focus.

Yeah that's almost always the case. Still, the tv show is actually pretty good. They add in some random things that aren't in the books (the gay scene, Arya working for Tywin, dialogue not present in the books, etc.), but you can't deny the acting is pretty awesome, especially Peter Dinklage's. I actually can't wait for the next book.
it's coming in a month and some. can't believe it's been almost a year since season 2. and the trailer will premiere during the next Jimmy Kimmel Live!
So just wondering. Will people be re-watching Season 1 and 2 before watching Season 3? It's been so long I almost forgot what's going on...
Yes. I won't be watching the entire 20 episodes though, only the last 2-3 episodes of the last season.
Same here. I remember what happens at the very end where all those badass dudes appear. But I assume the new episode will give us the relevant flashbacks to keep us updated anyway.
