All our authors have written gamebooks and had them published either online or in paperback. Many of them are huge gamebook fans themselves and are involved with other gamebook projects such as Project Aon (Lone Wolf), Fighting Fantasy related projects, and we even have finalists of the acclaimed Windhammer gamebook fiction prize writing for us. As a sidenote we are also in early discussions with a couple of other high profile writers about forthcoming gamebooks. One in particular will get gamebook fans excited.
Joe Dever? Probably not who you mean but that would get me excited. Loved the Lone Wolf books as a kid.
No sadly not Joe! In our dreams. You're not a million miles off though for one of the writers. Watch this space is all I'll say.
Is there anything about this app that makes the whole process easy to understand for people who never read gamebooks? I've familiar with the concept but never got into them.
Yeah, it's easy to pick up. There's an optional tutorial in the menu that you can read through, or just jump right into the game.
An Assassin in Orlandes has been approved! Here at Tin Man Games HQ we're really excited to say that Apple have approved Gamebook Adventures 1: An Assassin in Orlandes! Expect to see it on the App Store on Monday 8th February! The Tin Man
WOOO!!! Congrats man! I had an addition I was going to suggest, but it could probably be added in an update. How about an addition where you could skip right to where you were in the story without having to go through the menu? There could either be a prompt when you open the app that asks if you want to or there could be an option in the menu to enable/disable it.
Argh!! Great news...but painful as well!! I was hoping on playing this over the weekend!! I have a busy week next week and will have less time to devote to this than it deserves!! Oh well, at least it will be out!! Can't wait!!!
