Any platform, think about a game that may gave left you with a sad feeling or thought. I'm not gonna address the game specifically, but it involves killing the main antagonist, an old man who had recently had heart surgery, by artificially giving him a heart attack. The song was somber and had beats that depicted his heart beats, and ended with a flatline to symbolize his death. # *Disclaimer* this is near the end of the game, but not the very ending. Still the same effect although.
Games that make me sad: - all the ones with broken achievements where I went out of my way to meet certain requirements...only to find out the game was bugged. - FFX Remaster: I couldn't win the damn Chocobo race so I just deleted the game and save so as never to be tempted to touch that damn game ever again. So sad not to have the necessary skills for that. - Professor Layton and The Last Specter: Loosha.... (((((( - All the sequels that are either ruined by casual-ization and fanservice (Etrian Odyssey, Fire Emblem etc). - Finally all the games I wanted badly but that have failed to get localized (Miles Edgeworth, 7th Dragon, Dragon Quest 3DS remakes etc). Basically I am a sad gamer I guess? Someone wanna cuddle up with me? :3
To the Moon brought tears to my eyes multiple times. But it's the good kind of tears. Like it's sad but happy.
Super Mario Galaxy. Seeing your Luma transform at the end was beautiful. And of course Telltale's The Walking Dead. Oh god, boy did that game make me emotional.
Wow. Poor thing.. You've been afflicted with gameritis and the world is closing in..... I think you need a therapist. LOL!!!
Lol! Why pay someone when I can just ramble on to strangers for free on TA?? But you didn't answer my question: is there anyone who wanna cuddle or not??!!
Prey (ingenious and amazing-looking FPS game for Mac/Windows with fun crazy weapons) reached to a point that was surprisingly sad. I won't spoil it. (There was an iOS version of Prey, but not the same story--a stripped-down echo of the real game.) It got bad reviews for being short, but it wasn't THAT short. I recommend it. (LAN multiplay is awesome too--just because of those insane bio-tech weapons and the gravity shifts and being able to turn into a ghost and being able to shoot through portals and the crab mines and.... I think I have to play Prey again!)
I don't know if anyone played it or not but this one was on XBOX 360... LOST ODYSSEY It had many parts in the game where you are just like geez...this is the saddest game I've ever played. You play as an immortal and as you progress through the game you encounter different people and storylines and of course they die becasue they are not cool(or cursed) like you. Idk it's a great game and makes me sad thinking about it.

This War of Mine I just really felt horrible micro-managing my survivors. I can't stand hearing my survivor playing a beatiful and inspirational guitar songs while explosions from shelling and shootings are heard in the background.
